  1. They been this busy for ages. I had too look twice cause I thought that was my car. Rims gave it away.
  2. speaking to someone recently, there was mention of a boost leak that may be causing this. I will be getting this checked myself as the car is making a weird noise when coming on boost on 5th gear.
  3. looking good. I got the same "short" shifter installed. Changes through gears seem to be better. Only thing that is sh*tting me now is the gear know. loosing it's leather again. Surely there is a decent replacement on the market that keeps that stock look and feel.

@espoig, you been on the forum for a year and 11 months. When will you be going on one of the WA cruises? uhhh? Uhhh?? I really want to know if you look like that IRL.
  5. I got another second hand throttle body put in and the Etc did not come up since then, however the revs are always hunting around 1250rpm when in neutral.
  6. This seems to be a common theme lately. Is the car tuned/modified? Has it come up with ETC Fault on the dash yet?
  7. custom exhaust at prestige exhaust would have been $3600. I went down a different path.
  8. I reckon that K31th needs to get his car over the pits and since it won't pass the 5 gas emission test, he has to get it back to stock. Thus being to lazy to do so.
  9. It is good to see that they have upgraded the packaging for the obdlink mx. I like your idea too Rab, this Ebay item has my attention. This means that it can stay connected permanently and if I connect the xcal4, it dont have to unplug the obdlink mx. The only thing that I am concerned about with this setup is whether or not there will be conflict between the two being on, at the same time.
  10. my clutch is on it's way out. I don't think I want to aggravate it any more.
  11. I had a look at the acronym thread and could not find WAG.
  12. does the battery have to be marked and a fire extinguisher put in the car?
  13. lol. want an update hey........ This is near @Boganspeed place. Seemed to be okay. I didn't hear any scrapping, but that did not mean it didn't. Car is lowered and is not at factory height. I even went up on a kerb on the weekend, that I thought it was definitely going to scrape and nope.. no scrape on the cat.
  14. good luck with that. I know what's gonna happen and I got an hundie $$$$ on it.....
  15. Might have to drive to Radelaide to get fitted and supplied. Assuming he isn't too picky and won't accept this customer.
  16. ahh shucks. all good. Looks like I am gonna have to hit the full RRP price yet again. time to get the 6th credit card then.
  17. hahahaha noo noo noo. donations are not required, but it would be nice. A decent discount would be appreciated though. I was recently quoted on getting the dual clutch supplied and fitted and I almost fell on my ass. Thank goodness I was sitting at the time.
  18. lol. oh and the fact that I paid full retail as well right? so are you gonna HMU with an NPC kit?
  19. I'm glad I bought a new car from the dealer with Paint. Just gave ford that extra year I think.
  20. Only if it is purchased I believe. The ford techs have access to it, but it has some sort of watrr marking that identifies them. So if they share it, they can be identified and dealt with. I think the workshop manual is something really ridiculously priced and I am not sure anyone would be willing to share it.
  21. Well with the last cruise happening last weekend in Perth, I now know the clutch is not up to the job, will need to be replaced at some stage in the near future (maybe in 10 years time). However there are more serious problems now. I know I have posted this in another thread, but I want to post it in here for my future reference. This week I was getting the following error messages coming up: P0133 - Powertrain O2 sensor Circuit Slow Response P1000 -Powertrain P1260 -Powertrain I sent a message to Rob and he said it was fine. It has happened twice in the last week. This past week the car has been doing some other weird ass sh*t as well. When coming to a stop and I disengage the clutch, the engine keeps the revs up at about 1500rpm for 2-3 seconds and then it brings it back down to normal. I thought this was too weird. I was at a birthday party yesterday and when I left the party, I got to the first intersection, the car came up with ETC error and then the car stalled. In regards to the ETC error showing up, I had to turn the key off and wait a couple of seconds and then start the car (guy behind was impatient). I didn't get to scan the car then. Got home and scanned for codes with the app called torque. This is what came up: P1000 - Powertrain P2105 - Powertrain Throttle Actuator Control System - Forced engine shutdown P2110 - Powertrain Throttle Actuator Control System - Forced Limited RPM. I am going to have to speak to the tuna first and find out what the go is. Any suggestions or insight from others?
