  1. ^^ dude you need to wash your car and clean your windscreen.
  2. I just edited my post to explain, but before put that post up, it was showing up two different usernames. I should have taken a screen shot. lesson learnt.
  3. uhh whats the go here? same IP with two different accounts? Am I smoking weed or something. After posting this post, the names changed to match, however there were two different usernames before?
  4. So you still think it would buff out now? Holly cow is what came to mind when I saw the last pic. Guy must have rolled the damn thing, but how do you roll a falcon????? 220km/h should do the trick?
  5. Nah mate, I am in the same boat. Stock clutch and fly wheel. I know it ain't holding up to the job. Thanks for letting me know. I have been advised by Monsta Torque that they do their special magic on a twin plate NPC clutch that is lighter than factory. Normal driving arround town is fine, but as soon as that spirited mood kicks in, that is when sh*t hits the fan.
  6. Fark, I just learnt something new. I would have just dumped the oil and change the oil and oil filter. So the cranking over of the engine for 10 seconds with the foot flat isn't just for sending oil through the turbo. Now that I think of it, it makes sense cause you are cranking over the engine, the engine gets lubed too. Yes I normally warm my car up before changing the oil and oil filter, but having the car sit around for 18 months, I thought the oil would have become syrup?
  7. Been to the inspection and can't fault it. Throttle body replaced, Tune changed. Slowly working it out. Only holds rev's while cold. Once engine has warmed up all is good. tailshaft is due to be changed at same time as clutch.
  8. Gotta love these sort of problem. I have an issue at the moment with my rev's staying high in the rev range when changing gears(manual gear box). Changed Throttle body and still having an issue. At least I don't have an inspection hole. I feel for ya, I really do. Kunt of a situation to be in. I can safely say that if I had the same thing happen to me, the car would be going on gum tree.
  9. fark you done a proper job of that. At first I was ahhh inspection hole(someone beat me to it). Then I saw the alternator and went...... Must have been a big fart.
  10. I am no pro in regards to this, but I am going to bump this thread. I am sure the pro's will come out soon and give you the right answer. My assumption here is that it has to do with the power steering rack.
  11. PSI EGO, are you in Perth?
  12. far out, I feel for you. Ribs take longer to heal as well, from what I have heard. Hopefully the painkillas are working, if not every breath you take must be pain. Hope it heals quick. Have your got the GTX3576r installed and the ecu tuned? Does it need to be run in?
  13. sweet. so far I have two hands up. So where we gonna meet? https://www.google.com.au/maps/place/Dan+Murphy's+Kelmscott/@-32.1134977,116.0130175,16.75z/data=!4m5!3m4!1s0x0:0x8dd0438114a82167!8m2!3d-32.1113808!4d116.0135436 just a suggestion. start early in the evening I think?
  14. so what ya saying is that we will at least have a chance to get away.......
  15. after a tune, I am sure the tuna could squeeze every last bit of RWKW out of it before it falls apart?
  16. cruise tomorrow night? I'll let you go for a drive.
  17. anyone up for a cruise tomorrow night? Say we have dinner at Gosnels Macca or sizzler or pizza place. Have a chat and then hit the F1 Circuit and then back to dinner again?
  18. Don't get me wrong, I see where you are coming from in terms of tires. Yes that is the cheaper option to try and get the car under control. But getting the suspension sorted out first, should be your first priority. Doesn't have to be shockworks. Ask SteveR, he has King springs and koni's I think and he drives the car like a hoon.... My sway bar is stock standard, I have not touched it.
  19. I didn't even realize that there was another competitor in the market with a rear wheel drive, let alone twin turbo. Will this replace the falcon? how easy could the tuna make a new tuna for it?
  20. You need better suspension.... not tires. I had the same problem with understeer. Got the suspension changed and holy cow. It was like night and day. Car handles bloody well. I have had two different places comment on how far the front tires have been used on the sides. They can't believe I have worn the tires that far out on the edges. Yes I do take corners pretty hard, but the continental contact sport 3 are good tires. I think the important bit here in regards to in tire wear is that a camber kit resolves all issues.......
  21. since when is that a merc? that is a ba falcon sedan.
