Well I am back to have a read. been reading for the past day and a bit and doing catch up on what I have missed. Seems like I have missed out on a bit. Lets see how long I last on here. Had nothing done to the car recently. Only thing that has changed is that it has been down south recently and needs a well deserved wash and clean. notice any change in fuel consumption?

Nope, wasn't me. Nope not from personal experience. A mate of mine in an xr6t was pulled over in high wycombe. I drove past after they had pulled over. I was pissed cause it could have been me. I was also pissed cause they hassled the sh*t out of Mark, when they were the ones egging him on. I did have a go against a GT yesterday, at the lights in maidevale. I wasnt expecting him to race me, but he took off fast at the lights and that is when I decided to reel him in. Yes it did a bit of a skid once boost kicked in. Yes I I <3 Bananased up and hit the limiter for the first time in my life (for a split second). I really got worried that something broke, but I have not had any lights come up for the oil. Nope did not go over the speed limit, but he peeled off at the next set of lights and did not get a chance to chat. I know I need to get the tires changed at the rear. On the markers. Clutch needs to be done asap as well. 5th gear did not love me on Monday.

Perth people, what ever you do, if you see a dark blue xr6 next to you at a set of lights reving it's tits off, DO NOT RACE THE K U N T S!!!!!! No lights on the dash or rear parcel shelf to identify them as cops or should I say under cover detectives!!!!!!! They pull the lights out from under the dash and put it on the roof(like in the american movies) and then turn it on and make you pull over. They ask you why you were racing and if you say "Cause you were revving the sh*t out of your engine"(Wrong answer), they try and ping you for racing. Just say you were not racing!!!!! reckless driving my ass. they hassle this sh*t out of you to try and ping you for something.

fair enough. if you wanted to clean up the system, then it is understandable. Just thought I would point it out.

that looks much better with the streamline look. Hide the radiator. So many people put them on the outside to gather all the dust. In regards to your server HDD, why didn't you ghost the drive? Or try something like active boot disk to image your drive and then restore it to the new HDD. Would have saved you a TON of work.

finally someone has caught on. BP sometimes goes on special when I have 230ml left in the tank, which usually means I am running on fumes. The surge holds the rest. Once BP goes in and fills the tank, odds are that the next time Caltex is on special, is when I have half a tank of BP. There goes my opportunity to check and see how many km's I get on a tank of BP only fuel. It is then that the 50/50 mix of both fuels allowed me to coin the term Caltex ultimate.

use 95 as a last resort, when you are in the middle of nowhere and there is no 98. 95 don't run to well in these cars. there is a lack of power like there is an anchor behind. the magic juice is E85, but they still peform average on 98. My car has always used Caltex ultimate. Every so often BP will fill the tank up if the price is right, but to be honest I cant tell the difference. I never realised that forscan could tell what juice is in the tank. Will need to investigate that one. Might even check and see if Torque has it on the list.

far out, what an impressive list. Do you plan on tuning it yourself, or you going to be taking it to a specialist? If so, who will be the lucky person to tune it? nah mine is back road city driving. don't hit the freeway much. I am assuming that if I were to drive to Albany and sit at 100km/h, I should get there and half way back with no issues. Might be a stretch to make it back home, but I wouldn't risk it.

I am pretty sure I have seen you driving up Tonkin and Beechboro rd north ripping skids. Normally see a black xr6t being driven by a chick with the partner almost laying down in the passenger seat sleeping. Dan is that you in disguise on the right?
