All good mate. now you know. Another tip for you. you didn't have to reply to two separate posts. you can actually click on the plus sign next to the quote button which allows you to reply to multi quotes in one post. I hope that makes sense.

Fluff..... why not this??????????????????????????????????????

nah mate, just get a toilet ordered from japan. It comes with a seat heater. A water jet with warm water to clean your arse.

Dan I am going through a similar situation. left the car at Beam rust proofing in Belmont on Monday the 6th to get the rear window tint sorted out under warranty. Got cat back with a huge scratch and damage to driver side door and passenger door too. Called the boss to come and look and as soon as he sees it he says it wasn't them. like wtf........ He walks into his work shop grabs a rag and polish and proceeds to come out and polish it all up and says here you go. He is contesting it and this is not the first time I have had problems with this *beep*. Anyways I spoke to a lawyer and got an understanding of where I stand. I will be contacting him today and if he does not agree, then I will be handing it over to shanons along with the lawyers details. They will sort it out and chase him down. Insurances company is there for that. Hopefully she doesn't stress much more mate. It is the last thing she needs especially when it was not her fault.

there is only one way to put the toilet paper on the holder. With the paper rolling out closest to the wall.

....... We all need to vent mate. I know what you mean. In regards to autism spectrum, I CALL OUT Please don't cave into that BS. Our son was the same thing. He was a late learner. We couldn't understand anything he said until early last year. He is turning 5 in July. We took him to a speech pathologist to help him and he improved heaps after the 5th or 6th session. Our son threw tantrums as well as he couldn't express himself. It is very frustrating on both sides. Our daughter had started to talk at 2 and a half with simple words. at three she was talking enough to express what she wanted and needed. Not with our son. They are different and learn at different speeds. don't rush it either. You spend 2 years teaching them to walk and talk. You then spend the next 16-18 years trying to get them to sit down and STFU!!!!!!

like I said, everyone has different Methods. I think Luke is a very lucky man. Thank and I am sure he has an awesome relationship with his son, which shows. It took us 3 weekends to get our son toilet trained. Our daughter was a similar situation to what Luke went through. Fingers crossed Camo. Good luck.

That is the hardest bit, getting them to get the first one done. patience and persistence is all I can say. Best I can say is to do it over a weekend. No yelling at them either. take their nappy off for the whole weekend. Only put underpants on them. Take them to the toilet every 30 mins and leave them on there for 5 mins and no more. Every so often you show them how it is done. that is the best that I can advise. Everyone does it differently. I hve heard of parents bribing them with chocalate or sweets, what ever their favourite is.

Good job mr Pelican. It is good news to know that she is alive again. Have you given her a name yet? You know you have to give her a name as it is going to be a life long relationship right!!! Don't call her Betty or Elanor as I believe that it will be bad luck. -
That is good news and welcome back to the forum. Hopefully we see you more often. Have a read of my thread about the gear knob replacement, so that you know what you will be up against, when the leather deteriates from wear and tear.

I was suggesting to go to a tuna to get it looked at first. It could be that it has been tuned already and you won't need to tune it. Only the tuna could tell you how much the fish is gonna cost..
-
in that case, I would say that it would be best to take the car to a recommended Tuna in your area.
-
surely the car has gone in for a retune..................
-
do you have an xcal 3 or xcal 4 in the car somewhere? Mybe it was tuned with HP Tuners. May be best to contact previous owner and find out if it was ever tuned. If it was never tuned, then there is your problem.....

Replacement Gear Knob/ball/stick for FG manual
masda74 replied to masda74's topic in Interior & Exterior Workshop
Roger that. Do you just need the gear knob or the lever too? I completely forgot about that and you are right, it is ringing a bell now and I did like the shift in the aeroflow shifter. -
driving in the bunnings car park and have someone in a ford xt ute with rear canopy on, reverse into the side of the car. Ohh I didn't see you. Of coarse he did not see me. how do you expect to see through a canopy enclosure for your tools? That is why he should invest in a reverse camera ffs. Nothing wrong with his ute cause his tow ball did all the damage. Last week Monday, I took the car to beam rust proofing in Belmont to get my rear window tint done under warranty. Got car back with damage to driver door and rear passenger door. What else is going to happen to this car ffs. It is jinxed at the moment and I think it is one of you causing it...........

I hope he is being paid more than half a million a year to work non stop for that long and in that sort of heat. Fark that.....

Replacement Gear Knob/ball/stick for FG manual
masda74 replied to masda74's topic in Interior & Exterior Workshop
I ain't going to argue with you there. I know that Mal wood have awesome products, but at the time, I couldn't afford to go down that path. I went down the aeroflow short shifter path as I paid less than 3/4 of the RRP, back then. I was not expecting the stock standard OEM leather on the gear knob to decay that fast and yes it has already been replaced under warranty already. In regards to mal wods, short shifter, I am assuming you are referring to this: http://malwoodauto.com.au/product/ultimate-street-short-throw-to-suit-ford-fg/ That is similar to what the Aerflow short shifter is. You mention that others have worked it out years ago and I believe you. I did do a search for "gear knob" and found a lot of BA and BF threads. I wasn't sure if the right info was provided. Keep in mind that I am no mechanic and hence why I am putting all this info in here. Thank you all for your help as it has helped out. For the sake of making sure that I got the right Item Chris from core shifters got me to take measurements. I am glad he did. The bolts for the OEM lever are M8 with a 1.25 pitch. I had ordered the wrong item and he has refunded that back. it is all sorted now. -
Replacement Gear Knob/ball/stick for FG manual
masda74 replied to masda74's topic in Interior & Exterior Workshop
So just a bit of an update. I have been dealing with Chris from core shifters and he has been a very patient man, especially with the time difference between AUS and the USA. I have had to take pics and measure a few things. They have the equivalent for the FG https://core-shifters.com/collections/sticks-for-challenger Any of them could probably work (except the HardDrive kits) If any of you out there are looking for short shifters for your FG manual, please look at these first. might save you all the heart ache I have been through. https://core-shifters.com/collections/shifters-for-falcon I should have just got one of these instead of the aeroflow short shifter. Don't get me wrong, the aeroflow short shifter has been good. I love it heaps, but the OEM gear knob is doing my head in. Since the Aeroflow uses the oem lever, it was the best option for me at the time. Little did I know that the OEM gfear knob would start to fall apart like this with wear and tear. So I am deciding between these two options. https://core-shifters.com/collections/sticks-for-challenger/products/hurst-chrome-stick-knob-for-2009-15-dodge-challenger-6-speed-w-stock-shifter I am inclinded to get the kit as per the above url link. This is the other option I was looking at, but it shortens the lever height and so the know is lower than OEM position. I don't know if I want that. it uses the OEM boot. Rubber grommit is provided. https://core-shifters.com/collections/sticks-for-challenger/products/short-shifter-stick-hurst-knob-2009-15-dodge-challenger-r-t-srt8-hemi-6-speed an adapter/spacer is also required to connect the lever to the tranny. I am waiting for info on that.
