  1. Like I said, I felt stupid asking the question as I was sure the Falcon Whisperer wouldn't have drilled injectors. I thought that the Falcon Whisperer would have know better and he does. However this recent post from Luke is why I asked the question. Like John said, I was asking questions as I had no idea what you had done to your car. You have been here since 2005, so you have a wealth of knowledge. Now that you mentioned that you have been chasing a fuel issue all weekend, I won't be asking any more stupid questions. I did try and do a search for your profile to see which topics you had started, to see if you had a build thread, but nothing showed up. After all the awesome mods that you have bought , especially that fuel system of yours, I wasn't expecting you to have any issues. Like I said before, Sucks balls that you had to find out about your issues at the track. Good luck for next year then. Hopefully there are no issues then. Dave, so you went as a spectator this year, will you be going as an entrant next year? If so you better get yourself a new house soon, cause the locals are going to be destroying your car soon. So what did you get out of the weekend? I am going to say that you will be changing the diff first and then do the rest of the mods?
  2. Luke, I know I feel stupid asking this, but your injectors aren't drilled are they? I am assuming that you don't have id1000 injectors and that would be next on the list. Sucks that these problems reared up and showed themselves for this weekend. Come on Arron, you are always going on about throttle control, what happened to that magic throttle control of yours? I am assuming that the right foot was still in drift mode right? Thanks for actually posting up Picks Arron. Appreciated. Who drove the light blue xr6t, entrant number 157? How did that beast go? I like his exhaust manifold.
  3. I would have loved to go this year, I even had friday off, but I need to sort the damn clutch out. I also want to get the DRIVE SHAFT sorted before that. I hope to attend next year. I know how it feels to drive an N/A all weekend. The piping has poped off 3 times now over the weekend and I have no idea why. I have tightened it back on and it still comes off ffs. Can you spot it? Sucks that you had fuel issues Luke, I was hoping that you would have had a good run, so we could see what that turbo could do. Ahh so the truth has come out. Steve got his car tuned by the falcon whisperer and it shows. That is good news that it went well. Were there any additional mods before you tuned it Luke? If he has less power than Todd, how did he get a faster end speed? I thought that the end speed was about how much power the car made and not the torque. Hope you guys had fun too. Looks like it was a good weekend, even though the weather may have been a tad sh*ty. Any more pics or even better, any vids from the weekend?
  4. Steve's car ain't stock. The last I heard he had 317rwkw, but looking at the event results, Steve was faster than Todd. so I take it that Steve has had another round of mods and must be making over 400rwkw.. good luck with the sprint and I hope those rims dont get any rash marks @-Stever-.
  5. Who are they. Let us know so that others on here don't go down this path. I think you should have a chat with @JETURBO and get your car tuned too.
  6. Arron, the racewars results don't confirm your results. I take it that you achived those speeds on Albany Highway?? So @Ralph Wiggum, how did you go? Did you manage to sort your issues out and get a good pass?
  7. Luke isn't having a good run....... that sucks balls. https://racewars.com.au/LiveResults/Results?type=outright seems like Todd and Steve were neck and neck. Seems like Steve decided to use the hairspray trick on the car instead of his head. I still think it is that damn clamp that poped off during our last cruise.
  8. I am no specialist, so take this with a grain of salt. Also most of the falcon whisperers are at racewars this weekend. Hopefully they will all be back home tomorrow and you might have a better answer then. I have been here that long and I am not sure if this is allowed. anyways, one of the bookmarks I have is on the australian ford forums. http://fordforums.com.au/dtc/dtc.php I went there and checked your codes. P0500 seems to indicate an issue with either your cluster, sensors or pcm. U1039 seems to indicate damaged wiring, so that could be the cause of your p0500 code too.... check the website out for all the results. anyone else out there with ideas?
  9. So any updates. Surely Luke has set a record for the blue oval??
  10. Couldn't find it. Can you give me tip as to which page the easter egg is on? I did find a pair of jugs though.
  11. Congrats on that run. Hope you having fun. post up some more pics and vids please.
  12. Thanks for the idea. Well I originally bought the strap wrench to get the oem gear lever knob off. this happened.... So I have decided to cut off a couple of possible insulation strips to put on the lever and see how I go.
  13. They have 400m, 800m and 1000m events. Give them a chance to warm up.
  14. Bit of an update, so I have noticed a lot of feedback from the gearbox. A lot of unfamiliar noises that I never heard before. I couldn't understand at first why I never had this noise with the OEM lever. I then noticed that in the base of the OEM lever that they have rubber between the lever and the base support. I am going to have to find a way around this soon as it is making me feel like the gear box is falling apart, even though I know it is not.
  15. @arronm, have you heard of albany highway? Why would you drive on the dirt roads to albany. just not acceptable..... Now you got the rest of the forum thinking that we live in the sticks.
  16. Gotchya, so Steve should be A Okay.
  17. Is this due to heating cycles? Would this still happen even if you repaint the calipers. Reason I ask, is because @-Stever- is going to be pissed in a few years time when they peel again.
  18. I am not sure if you will get a reply from the falcon whispererererers........ They are all down south in albany at racewars. Hopefully they will be making the blue oval proud.
  19. Sweet. Good luck for the weekend and I hope nothing breaks down for you guys. Hopefully you don't need to tow it back to town.
  20. Never seen it either and I have what @Ezy2Confuze showed in the pics for my iPod. If you do find it for sale somewhere, post a link please.
  21. Do it once do it right. I did mine in two stages. Should have done it once, but the need to have more power can be overwhelming.
  22. Dafaq???? Spooning? I wrote egging them on. Where did spooning come from? Why would I want to spoon them? I only do that to my wife.
  23. I don't think anything else has been done. I am pretty sure that he has been working hard to save some coin to go and get it all done.
  24. they all young fellas too. too young and invincible.... the problem is that there is always one older fella around spooning them on to do sh*t they shouldn't Nope that wasn't me spooning them on. I been on two of their cruises and I am not sure on whether I want to carry on attending as I might just loose my license trying to keep up.
