  1. So the PW throttle body elbow was installed this arvo. What a Kent of a job to do, if it is your first time. Dem silicon joiners are tighter than a 16 year old virgin. Got there in the end and all connected as intended, after battling WWW3. Now I gotta get a tune cause too much airflow.
  2. Lol. Now you getting the idea. It feels like someone might be trolling us, but I am not 100% sure.
  3. I see that my influence is working.... nah mate I am just kidding. Just remember that everyone is different and not all kids are the same. also the lack of sleep at the begining has to be managed by both parents. if your partner is willing to express milk and freeze it, you guys can take turns feeding the baby, which means you should be able to get 4 hour sessions of sleep. I know of parents that withing 6-8 weeks of life, the baby sleeps through the night (most of it in any case). Don't let keyboard warriors like me influence you. There are joys in having kids and raising them, which far outweigh those initial sleepless nights. if you at the mines, it won't affect you. If you are at home during that week, well you dont have to go to work which means you can catch up on your sleep during the day. Wht you complaining about hey????
  4. Wait till you have kids. The first year you look forward to feeding sessions 6 times a night. then after that you spend endless nights tendering to them when they sick, regardless of you being sick too. The fun bit is when you think you are out of the woods after 5 years, you then find them having nightmares. However everyone keeps saying that sleep is overrated.
  5. Didnt you read what he said, all the oil escaped through the coils and pcv valve, back into the crossover and through the turbo and finally landed in the IC for maximum efficience??????
  6. Man that is a bummer. You must have been itching to take it for a drive. I hope you get it resolved soonish.
  7. I think that in a situation like this, it would be in your best interest to get the car towed to a recommended tuner in melburne. Those that know melbourne well, who would be a recommended tuner to get the car sent to?
  8. What happen to the glasses Dan? The other Dan, sucks to hear about the conversion not going to plan. Wish that things like a tune could be easy, but Murphy had other plans. Are you doing the tuning or is the mechanic doing it?
  9. Surely the engine oil light would have turned on to warn you before hand. I just don't see how this is even possible unless you lost your sump plug which would be a serious oil leak. I am not having a go at the OP, but I just don't see how the engine could run out of oil like this. I hope you didn't start the car without putting oil in it first. Take it to one of the recommended tunas of the forum to get looked at so you know what is going on.
  10. Rules are here https://rollracing.com.au/rules/ Buy your ticket to enter the event here https://rollracing.com.au/event/roll-racing-perth-5/ Same rules as motor plex.
  11. why can't we have a ZF 8 speed in ours????????????
  12. I believe that Johnny boy will be my co pilot possibly. So where do we sign up for the roll on races. I take it that the car has to be road worthy. Helmet is required. what else?
  13. so how many have we had for a show of hands for the 20th?
  14. I thought you said that you don't use facebook. so how do you know what one of the comments was? Smart Arse!!!

    Xr6t problems..

There are a lot of people that can help but their faith in humanity has disappeared. We have a lot of people who sign up on the forum, ask questions and get help and then do a runner and never come back. I hope you can see why there have not been many answers yet. I ran those codes on the website and got this: U2196 Description: Invalid ?Engine RPM? data. Other: PCM output data failure. Check PCM module. Conduct Functional Test: Gauge Test. U2197 Description: Invalid ?Vehicle Speed? data. Other: PCM output data failure. Check PCM module. Conduct Functional Test: Gauge Test. U2197 Description: Invalid vehicle speed data. Electrical: Damaged wiring or connections between the VSS and PCM. Other: Error on the SCP system between the VSS, PCM, IC and DLC Incorrect VID programmed in to PCM. PCM, IC, ABS not running current software and calibrations. U2197 Description: Invalid Vehicle Speed data Other: CAN bytes for vehicle speed is read as $FF from PCM. BEM default speed data used is Zero. Test PCM. I am no mechanic and I am no professional either, but logic tells me that you may have an issue with a sensor or your pcm is fobar. The other alternative is you have had your car tuned and the calibrations are wrong. Has any tuning been done to the car?

    Xr6t problems..

I am not sure what model you have, if it is ba,bf or fg. I have this webpage book marked for this reason. https://fordforums.com.au/dtc/dtc.php You can check your codes on that page assuming you choose the right model.
  17. @JamieXR common dude, give us something to drool over. Surely you have had some progress since January?
  18. see what was used in this tutorial???? Have a peak at the pictures..
  19. So what you are saying is that a Custom bent spanner is needed for an F6. There is your C word for you.
  20. I can't edit my previous post, otherwise I would have put this question in there. Just out of curiosity, what tires do you have? They not the achillies atr sports stuff are they?
  21. Ohh those century ones aren't bog standard. That is why I recommend them. The stock standard oem battery is 420cca if I am not wrong. The one recommended is 620CCA. If you search earlier posts in this exact thread, you can see when I replaced my stock standard oem battery with one of these, to see how long it has lasted. :D

    My Build

Blah blah blah blahhhhh. excuses is all we are hearing.....
  23. I can never remember which is which. They use to recommend one for the bf and another for the FGs. I can't seem to find the info now. http://www.supercheapauto.com.au/Product/Century-Car-Battery-67-MF-620CCA/517326 or http://www.supercheapauto.com.au/Product/Century-Car-Battery-67EF-MF-620CCA/517327 Keep in mind that these have a higher cca than the stock oem battery. That is what we need for the 4.0L barra. Found this on their page instead, with their recommendation. http://www.centurybatteries.com.au/resources/battery-finder/fitment-options/27716
