  1. If it ain't going to a well known tuna, I am gonna place my bets on a rod coming out the side. Take it to a local ford whisperer. Let the boys here know where you are located and I am sure that they will guide you to the right tuna. :D
  2. I wish I had that much RWKW. Dang.
  3. ohh I was one of the first ones to install such a big system. At first I got 27 panels and then a couple of years later I got 5 more added in. It has paid itself off already which is good, so I have recovered the cost. I am glad I got in when I did. Now the extra payment is helping with the mortgage. :D
  4. I have a 15kw ducted aircon setup at home. It runs almost all the time during summer and winter. I still get paid by WP/Synergy. I have 6.08kw worth of panels on my roof. yes it is a north facing roof too, so it has 32 panels on there. I could fit more panels on that side if I wanted to, but it would be pointless. My parents hardly use any power during the day. they use the power at night and so it was pointless for them to get the setup that they did Dan. Like I said, read your meter in the morning and at night and this will allow you to calculate how much power you use during the day and at night. The newer aircons do not chew up that much power if you run them all the time. Turning them off and on all the time will chew up power for sure.
  5. now I know why you need a solar station on your roof....
  6. fair point there about being there for a short period of time. even more reason for you to get it right. Check you meter readings while you are home. check in the morning and then in the evening. This way you can gauge what size system you need to get. My old man has retired at the end of last year. Being that he was an A grade sparky at one of the big players in lenster, he had cash flow to spend. He went out and bought the biggest system he could get. funny thing is that their power bill didn't go down by much. Know why?
  7. back in the day with the rebates, it was worth getting a system that big. Now a days it is not worth getting the biggest you can get. If you really want to work out how big a system you need. Taking readings from your meter at 6am and then at 6pm for a week or two. Then you can gauge how much power you chew up during the day. Based on that you can get an appropriate system. it might even be worth while getting a battery bank as part of the deal. This way you can live off the grid. hehehe
  8. Dude!!!!!! When you find the guy, he should pay your double the price for fixing it. Black mail the Kunt for a hit and run. Tell him you gonna report him to the cops. He should also provide you with free services for a whole damn year. I hate them kunts that do that sh*t as I have had it happen twice already and both times, I nailed them to the cross. Especially people who work in the same building as me. Just because they work at the same company does't mean they don't have to own up. Detective work can be nasty, but it has to be done. I just hope the *beep* didn't buff out any proof from his car.
  9. not bad for a gaming laptop. Time for you to try out pubg?? long weekend for me. 4 days off to get stuff done around the place. Electricity..... well I haven't paid a bill since april 2011. I hav been paid by WP and Synergy every 2 months since then. 32 solar panels on the roof will do that for you. :D

    Fill plug for what?
  11. What about the battery. how old is it?
  12. ahh noo. I see that I am not the only one with a 5 year old son who drags the top of their shoes. He has 3 distinct holes on the top of his sneaker because of the three different angles he drags his shoes. I really have no idea how he does it, but they are 0.5cm apart. I would have though the hole top part would be completely scrapped but no......
  13. Sorry for wasting your time. I know think less of my mates brother.
  14. thanks for that. looking at the size of the cups, I guess that they would sit on my ears and not around them. My ears start to hurt after 15 mins if the cups sit on my ear cartilage. But those headphones look mint. I checked the pricing of the headphones on other sites and I was shocked.
  15. Is it possible that it is an aftermarket alarm system? All my previous cars had aftermarket alarm systems and the saddest wail sounds very familiar.
  16. We have a queen size bed and it is enough. we sometimes have both the kids in the bed in the morning when we wake up.
  17. The PID for the NA could be different which is why you are having issues. I think there might be a way to work out what the PID is from Forscan logs.
  18. one way to test this, is to get a laptop with bluetooth. connect it to the MX bluetooth dongle. Install forscan and see if it works and can give you a reading. You do have and XR6T right?
  19. so am I in said group of 2/10 ?????
  20. I want a decent pair for gaming online. something that would sit around my ear. The current earphones on the market sit on top of my ear cartilage and after a while it starts to hurt. I saw all those headphone and thought, surely you don't use all of them. One of them should fit the bill for online gaming.
  21. Mick, no need to download it. On an android device you just need to import them. To do this all you need to do is go into torque. When in torque, click the gear symbol at the bottom left. then when the menu shows up, click on settings. Scroll down to the bottom and click on manage extra PIDS/Sensors. once you get the list of PIDs, at the top right you have a pull down menu with 3 little dots. Click on that and then select Add predefined set. then in the list you will have Ford(incl Powerstroke). click on this option. That will import the FORD PIDS. Once that is done, then you can setup a custom PID. Good luck.
