  1. I have been watching this thread for a bit and I am not sure if I missed it or not. Do you guys have a recommended Wide band gauge to use and what interface do you guys use to monitor it all when logging? Do you guys have something like the HP tuners dongle?
  2. hahaha you guys are all kunts, me included. If the car is tuned, it can be turned off in the tune.
  3. I am not sure I can hold myself back to be honest. I think I am going to have to chuck in the valet tune.
  4. how did you fix it? come on share it with the rest.
  5. I have seriously been contemplating the RS4. My brother got one second hand recently. Nice clean car and it has grunt. takes off well, but does not have that "butt" Dyno feel to it. The RS6 with the lambo engine would be sweet I think, but they go for 70k second hand. I can't afford that.
  6. I agree with adam on the sender. ford replaced mine under warranty at the time. Recently got my 2011 FG Xr6T manual sorted with the suspension. Control arms were replaced too. Then again the car does have 104k on the clock. My driver side door leaver fell apart in my hands. I simply took out the door panel and broke the welds. replaced the handle and put screens in place of the welds. Car is going in this week for a new clutch, but that is due to the extra power the car has. 500 ponies at the wheels is not stock power.
  7. so how else can this be done, if you don't have two remotes? I think that a licensed version of Forscan is required, is it not?
  8. ohh nooo. please do not remind me of the 1000km run in period. that is going to be hell for me.
  9. Well I'll be I <3 Bananased, I am not the only one with an issue with the way the car handles. Well during the last round of mods, the car does have close to 500 ponies at the wheels. What I did notice initially was, one morning on the way to the gym, I was at a set of lights. I took off and changed into second. I wanted to get around this guy and so I floored it, well I lost control of the car and just, just, just managed to grab it at about 75 degrees out. I was almost 90 degrees to the direction I was going towards. I reckon all the other cars around me would have shat themselves. I did have TC on and it did not save me. I tend to leave TC on for when I go around corners as I notice it tends to cut power in the engine which most probably has saved me. another thing that comes to mind about the car stepping out like that is the suspension. I have the front shockworks set to 4 clicks. The rears are set to 3 clicks. I might tighten the rear suspension up a bit and see what happens. No I do not clutch kick Elanor. She does not appreciate that sort of behavior. Also I have the bridgstone RE003 tires on there. I think they are a decent tire in the wet and the dry, even though the car kicks out like that. I think the moral of the story is to have your tuner turn it off in the tune. that way it is always off.
  10. My stock standard clutch has lasted a while with 379rwkw. It is only starting to flare up in fourth and fifth when overtaking and boost kicks in. Manual clutches from factory take a beatings as far as I am concerned. MT originally did NPC gear but started to have troubles with warranty and returns. They then went with Mal wood option 5 gear for a while. MT now have their own custom organic clutch setup, which I will be getting soon. Close to factory feel, I have been told. OP, how do you know your clutch is on it's way out? I thought mine was on it's way out, but it held on while tuning the car which surprised me. I was expecting to get a call to say that I needed to get my clutch done back then.
  11. I need to get all the cupboards redone in our house. once we know what we want, then I will get a dishwasher to fit. The current 19 year old dishwasher will need to carry on doing what she normally does, but hopefully not for much longer.
  12. That is good to hear. Thanks for the update.

  14. Steve hasn't been on for a while. Not sure when he might come back on. Hopefully all is well on his side of town.
  15. never realized how expensive a dishwasher is. 2k is the same price tag for the turbo I got in my car. What is so special about the dishwasher @.Stripes.? Bought these recently for $212 delivered. was a good special https://steelseries.com/gaming-headsets/arctis-7
  16. I hope you have a patent on that tool of yours.
  17. pics or it didn't happen. You know the rules by now.
  18. so when you getting new stripes so you feel good again?
  19. I have been feathering it quite a bit. I needed to save up the coin first. It is flaring pretty badly in fourth and fifth. Time for a new clutch. Booked in for the following Friday. Good times, just not for the wallet.
  20. Sweetheart, I haven't heard from you in ages.
  21. Stock clutch coming to the end of it's life. Time for a new clutch.
