I don't mean to hijack your thread mate, but I am going down the same path at the moment. Decisions, decisions, decisions. I have bought the 5" venom high flow cat as it was on a special as part of the group buy. I also bought it as it was stated that the cat was a bolt on to the standard exhaust and dump. This should see us through to 300-320rwkw. I do not have any plans to change the dump pipe. I am also looking at getting the id1000 injectors as the tuner prefers there. The other item on the list is the process west stage 2 intercooler. I am tempted to purchase an xcal3 second hand to save some coin, but I know that we need to make sure that it is in married from the car. Anything else to look out for?

Well I have been emailing Rob and got pricing on getting some mods done, but I need to find the quid first. There is a "Venom 5" high flow cat" group buy on the other forum and I bit the bullet and ordered it. Now to see when I can possibly get some upgrades done. I am chassin 300+.........

Steve, I use to run with the psb crew when I use to have my cbr. they had some wicked cruises through the back roads of mundairing all the way south. something like a 200km run and it allowed us to stretch the legs a bit and clear the cob webs a tad. city runs are a tad risky as well especially with the traffic on the roads and multinovas. I haven't been on many cruises due to family commitments. a wife that works Friday night shifts is hard especially when I look after the kids on Saturdays, doesn't leave much time for cruises. boganspeed, getting the car tuned again? what about the warranty? hope all goes well.

When the lights turned green he reved that ute so hard, but I wasn't gonna let him get away as I knew he was gonna try and get infront of me to turn off too. I just thought to myself why didn't he just join the rest of the queue behind me, so I gave it stick as well and overtook him quick, then slowed down keep to the speed limit. He had no choice but to pull in behind me. Seeing him in my rear view mirror made me happy.

I got the exact same problem, but mine is when I am driving at 73-78km/h. I get this humming or whine sound coming from the back. I have taken the car to 2 different ford dealers and every time it is the same thing. the tires are the problem. BS is all I have to say. I think it may be the diff, but it is only there when you turn on cruise control at those speeds. One of the dealers said it is the drivetrain. it just seems to be getting worse and worse. I have a manual. If you have the TC on and flooor it and the wheels spin, the TC will brake and stop the spining, you then get the tramp. Try it with the TC off and see if you still have the issue.

Far out guys, I am assuming that you all have auto's. I have a manual and I have had it since December last year. I have been using the Android app called fuel log as previous discussed and my average is 12.8L/100km. I do have a lead foot and give it a boot full every so often. No I don't feather it or drive it like a granny(only when the wife is in the car with me....). This is my daily driver and I have done 17500km since I got the car. The car is stock and only runs on 98.

ROTFLOL. There is a needle and it was just at the begining of the red block. I missed out on refueling the car last week wednesday as I was off sick. Prices tend to fluctuate to much in perth. Yes I could have topped up and all. I believe 98 ron was 147 on that day and I wanted to fill her up. Lesson learnt. won't happen again and no I was not doing any powerskids. I just won't trust the remain km left till empty again.

Far out, I recently went through the same thing. The display said 34km till empty. I was half way to the petrol station which is two minutes away from home and ran out of petrol. Far out I was pissed. Never again will I let it go under half way.

/\ fark me Dillz, what a top polish finishing on that car, you can clearly look at it as if it were a mirror. Look at how clean that car is. How long did you use to spend on the car every weekend? You would need a tooth brush to clean those mags though.
