  1. in-laws should be around, which means I might get a pass to get out the house...
  2. I had a whine in my car at 73-78km/h and at the end it was getting louder. Took it back to Ford 3 time before they eventually got the service manager to out got with me and I showed him the issue. 3 weeks later the diff was out and replaced.
  3. I have been reading to many threads and had to many open. thanks for replying
  4. Sweet, did you leave it at 330rwkw or did you bring it down a tad?
  5. Jas98 if you in Perth and you need help, I am happy to help out if you are NOR.
  6. I don't mean to hijack the thread, but I have been thinking about getting one as well. The only issue with the cheaper ebay ones is that you can not leave them plugged in as they will drai your battery. I have been tninking about getting this one: http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/OBDLink-MX-Bluetooth-OBD-II-2-Scan-Tool-Worlds-Fastest-Smallest-OBD-2-Android-/160885382351?pt=Motors_Automotive_Tools&hash=item2575841ccf&_uhb=1 It co es from america, but is is really small and should fit in the fuse box compartment with the cover on. But the is also this one: http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Mini-ELM327-Bluetooth-OBD2-Software-Licence-BA-BF-FG-Falcon-Diagnostic-Scanner-/150841577225?pt=AU_Car_Parts_Accessories&hash=item231edbcf09&_uhb=1 I am not sure if this one will fit in the fuse box compartment with the cover on. Howitzer85, what sort of info are you able to get? Are you able to get boost readings or do I need gauges for this?
  7. Any update on this? I am sure a tune has been done by now.
  8. Josh, do you normally dry your car after washing it? If so what do you use. I am sick of these cheap chemoirs and want to find a decent one that will last a while.
  9. Well as far as I am aware, this is part of the launch control system guys, but only applies to manuals. If you are at a standstill, put the car in first and then rev to 3500rpm, you will hear the engine change sound. This is one or two cylinders turning off. You then dump the clutch and the car will do the rest. When you change gears you will find that the clutch is soft till about half way down the pedal and then feel hard. Make sure you press the clutch alllllllllll the way in before changing gears. When you change from 2nd to 3rd it will be soft as well and then feel hard, half way the pedal. I believe this is the launch control doing it's work, but it will burn the clutch. I don't like it at ALL. I had the burnt clutch smell going through the car for the rest of the day through the ventilation system even though I wasn't going hard at it.
  10. I recently got my diff replaced under warranty as it was whining like an old hag. While doing the diff, I got them to upgrade my Diff bushes to Nolathane bushes for all 3 of them. Only complaint I have now is that the Dunlop sport Maxx tires did not last longer than 23,000km.
  11. Ralph, I would appreciate it if you put some piks up for me. Could you advise where you got your Invo's from and for how much? If you don't mind can you please can send me a pm with that info, if you don't want to make it public? Thanks
  12. I am due for new tires soon to replace the Dunlop sport MAxx that come with the car. Currently have 245/35R19 on there and I was wondering do I stick with 245/35/R19? or can go with a wider tire, if there is such a thing.
  13. Here you lot are always going on about piks. So I put piks up and you can't tell the colour? It is beige
  14. Close, but the other two were the light orange colour. Mine was the only sunburnt. But what were the odds of all 3 of us meeting up at the same place? One of them was not turbo
  15. On the corner of Roe and Kalamanda today at 16:20. Are you on the forum?
  16. Getting home to find a new colorblind fence and not the ugly old hardy fence. Then figure out that the RAC insurance did not cover the cost... Maybe I am posting in the wrong thread. Fence still looks good.
  17. The one day when I was driving my wife's car, there were these two XR6T drive by. What spirited driving that was. It was a pleasure trying to keep up.. Spotted on Gnangara road at 16:35. We had a chat on Alexandre drive, but for the life of me, I can't remember you nickname. You know who your are and I know you are part of the forum...
  18. ROTFLOL, this is what is holding me back now. Did you tune keep Traction control on or off now?
  19. Steve, Which Dealer did you go through to get the bushes upgraded? I might discuss with my dealership at the moment, the option to go through WA suspension as well.
  20. All Good Phill. No need to change the date. leave it for the saturday. I might poke my head in, late in the arvo to have a look. I was really interested in finding out how to do the Earl inline filter basically. Might get Simon to install it once the car is in for a tune..
  21. I have tried to contact both mobile phones listed on the website and just rang out and went to voicemail. I left a voicemail for Rob and never got a call back. I sent an email through to them and there was a quick response to my questions, but didn't complete answer them. I still have questions left to be answered. I might just pay XFT a visit this arvo.
  22. I recently tried to contact Monsta torque and only contact has been through email. I was hoping to be able to discuss plans with Rob, but I might just have to head on over to XFT. Monsta torque is 2 mins from my place and hence the reason I thought I would go with them.
