Cool, that is what I have at the moment. I am running the free version of torque, but I am contemplating getting the paid version. However that being said, would it be benificial to have a program like this on a tablet to get specific info that torque cannot get?

Do you guys use a laptop or tablet in car to run the program? I would liketo use something like this while driving instead of getting gauges. The issue I have is that a 10" tablet in the car is a bit hard to have fitted on top of the dash.

Kilmo, which dealership in Perth did you get your car from? If it is from the midland guys, they are a bitch to deal with. Lucky for me I got my car from Seaview ford and I have a good relationship with the service manager there. I have spoken to him about my intentions and all is good. as long as I have done nothing stupid, most of the work should be covered under warranty. Try and speak to the service manager and see what he says.

Steve ,the plan is as follows, get the 5" high flow 100 cell cat installed (bought as part of a group buy on another forum), then get a stage 2 process west I/C, ID 1000 injectors, Xcal 3 and tune. Rob is going to install the Earl inline oil filter for me as well. With those mods I am hoping to get into the 300 killerwasps club. Rob has the Aeroflow short shifters shown on their facebook page. I asked Rob about it and he gave me a special price which I could not resist. At that price fitted, I was all thumbs up.

Jas98, thanks for answering. I am not sure how you guys came up with the generic tune, but I am assuming it has something to do with the capa device, what ever that may be. Essentially you guys are saying that the car needs to be tuned or there is gonna be oil on the track.

Albert, you can easly unclip the obd port from the fuse box. I have mine hanging in the fuse box compartment.

Well I have been out to Monsta Torque today and spoke to Rob. We discussed what I wanted and how to get there. Got my list together and paid a deposit. Now comes the waiting game. I did speak to Rob about the springs and he reckoned that the F6s tend to require the springs more often than the xr6t do. That doesn't mean I am not planning for them. I will wait and see when the car gets tuned in 3 months time. I think I am more excited about dem short shifter than about the car getting tuned.

With everyone wanting to do mods and stuff, would it not be possible to do a group buy things that may be common to all like ID10000 injectors or intercoolers and piping?

Ford Freaky, the second time I was there at the dealer, I showed one of their support reps what the issue was. They took it to some specialist in wangara and said it was normal. I told the guy bollocks. Anyways the third time, I got the service manager to go for a drive and he heard it. So I totally agree with you that they need to hear it. Just be persistant and bug them till they fix it is my moto....

Fair enough. At one point I had the radio at level 25 and that was blasting, I could still hear the diff. I am glad I got the diff replaced.

Has anyone in Perth been able to get their hands on the ATR Sports 2 tire at a decent price. Have been quoted $199 a corner. I will be getting myself two of these soon for the rears.

WOGPOT, please dont take this the wrong way, I am not having a go at you. I do not agree with you that the diff whine is normal. I did not have a whine when I got the car brand new. It eventually took me three trips to the dealer to get it replaced under warranty. Some people can put up with it, but it got to the point that it got worse and worse. Thought the whine was there because I had the wife in the car, but that was not the case.

fordomatic, it took me about 3 times to get it sorted. I eventually told the dealership I bought the car from, that I had plans to mod the car soon and that if the diff gave way after the mods, they would be replacing the diff under warranty. That got the service manager thinking big time. The reason being is that he specifically said to me that the diffs and gear box are rated to 450hp. I said to him: "that is fine if the diff is operating as now and is okay, I will be going ahead with my mods and will be getting at least 300RWKW. if the diff lets go, you guys are fixing it free of charge." 3 weeks later the diff got swapped out.
