  3. Steve, would it not be cheaper for you to grab this hood for 50 smackers and get a panel shop to paint it silver for you? Or will this not fit on your car because it is an FG hood?

  5. Far out, look at the size of that radiator. I didn't realise how big it was until now. I have seen most of the pics you posted of the radiator. Looking at the last pic, you have soooo much space between the radiator and the pulleys. Is that because this radiator is a lot thinner than the previous one?
  6. what about the collant levels, how you getting around that if you used plastidip on it? or did you only do the top cover?

  9. As XtRmn8 said, the torque is way down. Your dyno shows 600nm max, on mine it was 800nm. Get the fuel tested if you can. I would have nomidea where to get it tested, but aaronm would most probably know.

  11. Rotflol. That really cracked me up. I was joking and that is why the wink was put in. Seriously though as said before give Simon a call tomorrow and discuss it with him. I am sure he is a reasonable man and fix it up for you. He would want to keep his customers happy as I am sure he would want you back for you next round of mods. I am pretty sure you will be back sooner or later. If You think it is a bad batch of fuel, well then a cruise is in order to empty that tank of fuel. Where do you want to meet up. This way you can test drive my taxi and feel the difference.
  12. Lol.only when I looked at the pic a second time did I realise that was my dyno sheet. Trying to palm off my dyno sheet is not acceptable... Looking at your results and mine, I recon you need a second opinion. Take it down to Rob.
  13. No need to make one big hole. You can take the air box out and drill a whole bunch of small holes on the underside to improve air flow.

The decals on the spoiler is something I have been considering for a long time, but what colour would look good on sunburst I have also been considering a custom decal on the rear passenger doors, which would consist of the ford eagle in some sort of vector image. The car looks good and I love what you have done with the front bumper with plastidip!

  19. Lol, Thanks for that Mate. It has been a while, but I spent more than had been budgeted. The misses still doesn't know the damage to the bank account as I was not planning to get the surge tank put in. Well it has been a fun few days with the car. I am loving it. The car just wants to keep on going. It's like a freight train. Once again a big thanks goes out to the guys at Monsta Toque for all the work they have done. I forgot I had my dash cam in the car. It was set to only run when the car was on. Pitty cause I only managed to catch some of the dyno runs and the outcome of each run. It was a fun few hours last night watching through all the vids...
  20. Well it was a challenge to get this scanned in as a jpg file without any pixelation on the image. I had to visit another division of our company to get this scanned in. PITA!!!!!! Now I have no idea if they had already done anything to the car when they did the stock run. All I know is that the stock run said 10psi. I never ever saw it go over 6psi in the TORQUE application for my android phone. Last night when I was out on a cruise it did show up as just a tad under 12psi, so I get the feeling that TORQUE is not telling fibs.

  22. Hey Guys, sorry for the late reply. I have been trying to scan in the dyno sheets, but they are coming up pixelated. Something to do with the copiers at work. Hey Steve, I believe Rob did push it up to it's limits but then brought it back down to 310rwkw. I was not after a specific number and did not want to be pushing the limits of the little turbo. Rob did bring it back down to 11psi so that it was running at a safe config. I know that afew people will say that there is no safe config, which is fair enough, but I rather the 310rwkw than the 330rwkw and have something break down in a few months time. From what I can gather there limiting factor would be the exhaust and the small snail. The intake pump was left as is and the PW surge tank was put it. I heeded to your warnings about this and thought that I would be better off safe than sorry. The valves did not float and so this meant that I could afford to get the surge tank put in. when the next round of mods come along in 3-5 years time, I will have the supporting mods already installed for a new exhaust and snail. Thank Lennox. I am very happy with the result. she just wants to keep climing all the way up the rev range. From the use of the torque app on my android app, the most I ever saw the boost go up to was 6psi. Last noite on my private cruise, I saw it hit 12psi. not the turbo bro.
  23. Well that being said, I wont be able to keep up with Steve then. The results are in and I believe 310rwkw came up on themlast two runs at a safe 11PSI. Once I get in to work tomorrow, I will scan in all said documents. As always no pics means it didnt happen. That short shifter feels great but the stick sits higher.
