  1. Nah mate, never went down with the xr6t. Have no interest in going down to the motorplex. I know that if I do go, murphy's law will dictate that something will break and I will have to get towed home. I went down to the motorplex back in the day with my cbr954 and did a pb of 11.04s. My wife works on wednesday and fridays, which rules out any chance of making WAW.
  2. I was wondering what Steve was on about until I read the above post lol. IF Dowen was doing 11 sec passes, imagine what my car would be doing now, especially after the tune.
  3. Bomber, I have the atr sports 2 on all 4 corners. I went out late last night to fill her up with bp and the roads were wet. Holy F% KEN cow!!!!!!!!!!!!!! There is no lateral grip on the rears especially in the wet. The smallest amount of acceleration would put the car going sideways. It was so freggin annoying. Be aware, very aware. It was like ice skating. I will leave them on the fronts as there were no issues with braking hard or turning. I am gonna have to get nitto invos for the rears.
  4. SeduceG6Et67, this issue that you are having, try and go to a forum like this: http://forums.macrumors.com/showthread.php?t=693239 and see if you can post in there, the issue you are having. I am sure someone on there should be able to help ya.
  5. turboboink, I was yanking your chain.... I have a Samsung tab and it is the same thing. I have to double read my posts before clicking the post button. Pisses me off. I am soooo tempted to just turn it off. Dowen, how did you go last night, what were your times? The car in for the clutch today or was that last week?
  6. Really is "DISGUSTINGLY" powerful ain't it Turboboink? it makes you weeeeee in your pants when you sit in the back seat and you not expecting that sort of power to kick in.
  7. I think you may need a camber kit? when lowering the car, you get that, but the camber kit will resolve it I think. Someone please correct me.....
  8. rotflol. I hate it when this happens. I also forget who has what...... The joys of life.
  9. Do you have anything plugged into the OBD port in the fusebox?
  10. ^^^^^ ??????????
  11. Hahahaha, does she have boost at least Steve?
  12. I was confused at first cause I could have sworn that I was the only one to reply. Now I understand why. Didn't realise that there was another topic.
  13. I do not have the elm327, but I do have the MX obdlink bluethooth edition. I use the program called Torque(free edition) on my android phone to connect to the mx obdlink. I did not have much success with the Dasd command program. It seems like I was ripped off. They have em on special. FFs, I have had mine for a year now. http://www.scantool.net/obdlink-mx.html This version shuts down when you turn your key off, so it does not drain your battery.

Lenox, have you had a look at XYZ by any chance? I like the black ones for a sleeper kinda look. They fit the front 19" rims from what I hear. They however do not clear the rears if you get the 4 pot sibling.
  15. it is a tad cheaper than what the dealerships were charging. Since I have done mods to the car, the warranty no longer applies so why should I have to deal with the dealerships when the guys at MT have excellent service?
  16. They only ever got to service it twice. I have since done mods to the car and Rob at MT is now servicing it from now onwards. Car has just done 34k on the clock. When it hits 37.5k it will get another clean batch of oil.
  17. Same thing happened to me at the 15k service. They put the mobil 5w-30 in. When I asked the service manager, he said they use this all the time. They want to look after the engines to make sure that they last longer and don't break down as much. I didn't fall for that at all and I reckon it was all BS. However every service after that, they did only ever put in Mobil 5w-30. If something happens to your car under warranty and they say it is your oil, then your invoices for your service is your only proof. Keep those invoices safe as. I wouldn't want anything happening to my engine either, knock on wood. but if it did happen, it should be covered by the dealer, if you only service it there and nowhere else. My 2cents worth
  18. Holly cow. what are you downloding Stevo?? no no no, dont say, I dont want to know.. I have 500gb per month and we only ever get through 2.5gb worth of stuff. You can come borrow some of my intermawebs if you want.
  19. Ahhh come on Stevo, put a video up showing the whole thing. Why have a dash cam if you not putting videos up?
  20. I would bite and take you up on this, but after my discussion with Darren yesterday, I think she is gonna stay the way she is right now. I was planning on upping the killer wasps up to 350-400, but then Darren told me all about the changes I have to do and I changed my mind. Full exhaust, another snail, new CAI and battery relocation, shaft upgrade, clutch upgrade. nah not worth it right now. It would be my death sentence if I did go ahead with the mods. I haven't seen anything on the website about which brand they do.

^^^ +1 Darren said that the Bendix heavy duty pad are not dusty at all. They do however wear the rotar off faster because they are a harder compound. Changing the brake fluid does make a big difference. DOT 4 is what I have been told to get. Fadz, where did you get your braided line from?
  22. it took all of december before the mod bug bit again... this is not going down well with the misses especially when we have plans to go on holidays in the near near future. lol
  23. you must be stoked. I glad that I am not the only one that's on this bandwagon. It is the best service every. Yesterday I dropped by to have a word with them and they dropped what they were doing to have a chat. Just cant go past these guys, especial when it comes to service. You must be stoked with how the "PIG" feels now.

Funny you bring this up. Just yesterday I was discussing this with my tuner as the standard brakes that come with the car leave a lot to be desired. That being said I was told that it would be better value to get the T3s for the fronts and T2s for the rears. Dont forget to get the right pads as well, as this plays a big factor as to whether you have a good or bad experience. My tuner has recommended to get the heavy duty bendix pads along with the DBA T3 and T2 rotors....
