not a problem. I spent almost a year and a half looking for a solution for my cameras. in the end the solution came in the form of an NVR. The third one that I had bought as the cameras from China are an unknown especially when you are the guinea pig.
-
Good luck with that. you mean the 17th of Jan yeah?
-
good luck with that. I bought CCDCAM camera about 7 years ago. It has been a mission to get working. I ended up getting an NVR for just under a grand at wholesale price to get it all working. I did not want another pc running at my place to be honest. However if you are interested in getting stuff for the pc..... Free and pain in the ass. https://wiki.zoneminder.com/index.php/Ubuntu_Server_14.04_64-bit_with_Zoneminder_1.28.0_the_easy_way? That is an old thread, but I am sure that ubuntu is now at 16. something. If you want to read about the latest then: https://forums.whirlpool.net.au/forum-replies.cfm?t=2702037&p=49 the above thread is part 9 There are other parts with 100 pages in each one. If you post your questions in there, you should get better responses I would say from people that have experience in regards to the PC side of things. @skidxr6t tune in and help a brother out...

Yes it was a bit extreme and it was because I could not work out their mouse settings. Afterwards I worked out that they had some mulitplier factored in which is bullsh*t. All other games are straight forward and simple. BF5 had to be I <3 Bananasen different!!! Well I now have a GTX1060 on loan. Been playing ROE. Ring of Elysium. another pubg spin off. the graphics card will get me out of trouble for a bit. I am impressed on how it is handling the gaming at the moment.

Deep freeze. lol. If you chucked the radiator from your water cooling setup in there instead..... Well.......

Holly cow, when did you guys get into Overclocking your systems this seriously? I take it that you guys don't want to upgrade your machines and so you resorted to overclocking? Peltier cpu cooler with water cooling does wonders before you decide on liquid goodness. Well I was playing BF5 for a week and got sick of it to the point that I took out the GTX1080Ti and sold it to a work mate. I am over it. Santa where are you????

I have been stable for a while which is good, however I recently found out why connection drops down from 84Mbps to about 35Mbps. The router I have, has been known to cause the issue. it is not IINET or the NBN CO. so I am on a hunt for a replacement router. This one has served me well for a bit. I might actually call you in a couple of minutes @skidxr6t

Puffwagon you there? don't swap. if you there, please reply, so I can tell you why. @Puffwagon, a mate of mine that lives in dawsville/hallshead has been with IINET for a few years. He does FIFO and when he is in town, he has the internet working so and so. However every time he gets back from the mines, his internet is not working. He had to turn off his modem and then turn it back on. It got to a point lately that it was happening while he was in town as well and get fed up and IINET was not doing anything. He recently decided to go with Aussie Broadband based on a few IT mates of his suggesting to go with them. He churned over and as soon as his internet was up and running, he noticed that his connection had dropped from 44Mbps(iinet) to 3Mbps(ABB) also his connection was disconnecting every 15 mins. he had to keep turning his modem off and back on. He has been stuck in limbo land like this for 2 weeks now. ABB have contacted the NBN and they have been to the exchange and have run tests. They say that everything checks out okay, but they know that there is an issue. He has stopped playing games. he can't even apply for jobs lately through websites cause by the time the two finger typist is ready to submit the form, the net is down. I suggest that you do not churn, but get the fukwits at OPBALLS to contact nbn and check out your line. If you getting drops in speed in the evening in comparison to the day, then it is OPBALLs that do not have enough bandwidth, then moving to Aussie Broadband will help with that.

ohhh he would be having MY kids of coarse..... I played the multiplayer part for all of 15 mins and haven't touched the game since. I found it way harder than previous battlefield editions. you get slaughtered so easy and take ages to re-spawn. It really felt like COD to be honest. I haven't touched it for 2 or 3 weeks I think. Now I read that EA have been listening to the players and they may have fixed that with an update, but I CBF going back in cause I hated it that much.

well since I have blue nuts, I may as well donate one of them. So who has been playing BF5? Thoughts when comparing to previous versions?

I just got back from having one of my kidney's removed. I can now afford a titan.

We as a group of 6 in Perth use discord to chat among ourselves while gaming in Ring of elysym, Pubg and BF5. Ventrillo and twitch suck. Hate using those applications. I know that twitch is more for streaming, but some use it for the chat functionality.
-
Puff. I am only sh*tting you. I do not have either of those products. There is no way, I would be able to afford that sh*t. I can only dream. I barely survived getting my car modified, How could I afford that? lol Do you guys use discord by any chance?

I am sure that they will fix all of that in the near future. https://www.ple.com.au/Products/633086/eVGA-GeForce-RTX2080Ti-XC-ULTRA-GAMING-11GB-GDDR6-Dual-HDB-Fans--RGB-LED-GDDR6 + https://www.ple.com.au/Products/632310/ASUS-ROG-Swift-PG27UQ-27-4K-G-SYNC-120Hz-144Hz-OC-4MS-HDR-IPS-LED-Gaming-Monitor

no need to look at it. thanks mate. I heard about how it chops out half the frame rates. I am not sure I want RTX enabled. I really just want to game at 4k resolution at 144hz with G-Sync on.

I can't believe you paid $110 for BF V!!! I got it for PC through a website for $68. https://www.g2play.net/category/54540/battlefield-v-origin-cd-key/ Actually it is going for $53 now. John you made a wise choice buying the RTX2080. I got a TI on it's way through wholesale. Have to wait till they have stock.
