Thanks heaps. Yer I replaced the coils and plugs very recently but I might check the gap again. What would you guys recommend? 0.8mm? Also the throttle body was replaced just before I bought it too. Just drove it home from work though and I think it just changed to an XR5T :/ so I think I really need to check my coils and plugs. I'll let you know how it turns out. Any more suggestions appreciated. Thanks

Hey Guys, Recently bought a 2005 BA MKII XR6T Ute and I love it! Only 1 issue (so far). It seems to lose power or boost pressure or something under full throttle. It seems like the car is choking and it bogs out. I have a flash tuner that I can change the boost between factory, 8PSI and 10psi. I looked into the problem and from what I found it seemed the ignition coils and plugs were at fault. These were replaced and the problem was solved... or so I thought. Its definitely better than before and the car can run 10PSI now (was horrible before) but the bogging out under full throttle has returned. I've had a recommendation to have a de-carbon service but I don't know if that would help. Really appreciate any help anyone could offer!
