  1. Although I agree the big wing look is preferable, the wingless look is really a different approach to things, same as the muscle of the XR bodykit and the sleekness of the FPV kit appeal differently.
  2. Its only the ST though, and we got the last one so theres no reason why we shouldnt get the new one, unlike the old RS which was a limited numbers built thing. I dont think Ford's even announced what the new RS will look or go like.
  3. Dude the ICC goes in all Falcon's and Territory's, its just the radio and A/C controls with a few other things as the one interface
  4. Some pretty nice work there, jus 2 questions: Was that with the stock rev limit? If so, are there any plans for now to increase that?

    "the Logies"

Hey at least Bathurst got the award for the best sports presentation, or whatever it was called
  6. Sounds like the new times could easily vary a second between Wheels and Motor then, Wheels loading the car 2 up and probably do their usual 3 runs, drop the slowest and average the fastest 2, and Motor possibly dedicating a whole morning to getting the best out of the car. All sounds positive though, dont think Motor have run 13.7 in a T yet, so at least they wont have the argument ".....and it wasnt even fast...." anymore. Can you tell im anxious for the official retest
  7. How was the clutch pick up point? Ive heard the original batch had a fairly high pick up point, making the launches pretty hard

    Typhoon Bar

Well other than the different mesh design, I think theyre the same design of the GT-P, without the GT's tri slot bottom lip splitter
  9. Isnt it obvious, the email says "no plans at THIS STAGE", this stage being late April/early May. Its planned for October remember. They probably havent even acknowledged the Falcon will be upgraded in October, let alone what the upgrade includes
  10. They need the revs to really get going though, the lack of torque's something my dad complains about with his E36
  11. Its a good idea, but without a windtunnel and modification/testing, it could prove a deathtrap if you get it wrong
  12. It'd add about 200kg of downforce overall, but where would you pick one up? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I'm sure it wouldn't be too hard. Ford would probably help out to get some publicity out of it <{POST_SNAPBACK}> They'd be a place to start, or start ringing up the likes of FPR, SBR, BJR, DJR etc. and see if theyre willing to part way with a kit. Ford do design the kits for all of their teams though alfterall.
  13. Hasnt even been broken by a petrol engined car yet, closest anyones gotten is about 650km/h and that I think was Donald Campbell in Bluebird
  14. It'd add about 200kg of downforce overall, but where would you pick one up?
  15. Not rwkw, the V8's today make about 450kw at the flywheel now theyve restricted the minimum weight for the bottom end. DJR's AU's apparently made 480kw.
  16. Not a bad starting figure either
  17. So where did you hear this? I find it hard to believe, expecially since HSV have about twice as many sedans available as FPV
  18. I think you mean hp.... Theres a glitch in the game that when you set the power figures from HP to kW, in alot of places they still showup as the HP reading but with the kW suffix
  19. apparently from what so called people in the know are saying if you want to expel hot air vents should be facing the windscreen as the air enters under the bumper. if you face the vents in the other way you areletting cold air in but not letting the hot air out. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> That is correct. It is what I found on my play car before I fitted Cosworth vents. The 2.3lt would generate so much heat it had nowhere to go. Once I completed the project with the rear facing vents I noticed a big drop in heat in cabin and engine bay. There was also more booggie too ! <{POST_SNAPBACK}> The way ive heard it, the difference in air pressure literally "sucks" the hot air out of the bonnet, so unless you like driving in reverse its best to keep them rearward facing
  20. Anyone else hoping the new auto will bring about a rethink of the torque reduction tags?
  21. Surely with the MKII just a few months back they won't be doing another upgrade so soon, will they? It would sure make the MKII model devalue a bit quick. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Then how do you explain the Mk2 upgrade being so paltry?
  22. You'd expect it to eventually get F6 hand-me-downs, be it the upgraded internals, larger intercooler or independant VCT sometime soon in the future
  23. Wheel arches or not theres still the control blades in the way on a sedan so it'd be way easier to do it on a ute
  24. As for Flint going, are you sure your not getting confused with John Russel stepping down from FPR?
  25. Did you miss the 5.7/14.01 that Motor got from the F6 when comparing it to the GT?
