The guys a turkey!!..... Did he actually DRIVE the Pursuit?.. I mean Traction control??... "pale blue"??.. Prefer blood orange with contrasting side stripes?? And to top it off... "blueish purple" instruments similar to a BLOODY VW??... BTW, I've had 400kgs in mine, and my "sexy aero skirts" never came close to scraping the road! :hiwelcome:

Don't worry about 290 boss oil burning issues!!... DO worry about Tyre "burning" issues during The FPV driving course!.... One word... AWESOME!

How can you possibly go past the Mustang & the Dodge Charger in BULLIT?... It goes for 9 mins 40secs & actually took 3 weeks to film!.. 2 Mustangs & 2 Chargers were used, only one Mustang still survives! Actual speeds reached during filming were up to 110 MPH, remembering this was 1968... Before computer imagery technology!

Doing mine tomorrow ( 22nd)at Calder 9.0am... 4.0 pm.. Fax says..... Tyres: Set for "ontrack" conditions 8- 10psi higher than Manufacturers recommendations... & clear your car of all loose objects!... ( Hmmm, sounds serious? lol) Will give a full rundown ( If I'm still in one piece!)

Still not sure on this?....... We are going to try the normal ones next!.... The trouble with the Pursuit is the back rear skirt bit is 60mm higher than the skirt before the wheel!... this I reckon is why Ford don't do them?

Got the full Herrod S/S system yesterday. Absolutely AWESOME!... Talk about giving the 290 a foot up the arse!... Getting traction now a REAL problem!... And the Note!!! Wooooooa!... Anyhow enclosed some pics of engine out etc...( mind you, whole job took 4½hrs!)
