On a ute.... Stamp duty is fixed at 2.5% + NO luxury car tax on commercial... BUT a titbit I've discovered is All FPV vehicles incur $1695 ( compared to $895 on XR ute), dealer delivery , presumably because much more intensive pre delivery requirements

On my XR6T I got "Free" XR mats !! ( big deal!) What they DID do though was drop the overall price of the car ( & my tradein value) to come in just under the 5% stamp duty,( 4.5% under $45,000) this also involved 2 cheques & receipts ( 1 for the car & 1 for paint, interior & tint)

Re: "freebies"..I'm negotiating at the moment, ( Pursuit, orange blood)...And ALL I want is a decent tradein on my old beast?...I mean, I just wonder what sorta markup there is on a ( close to) $60,000 vehicle?...Chris any idea , how much a dealer CAN drop & still make a margin?

Well actually, not "owned" by Rob...It Is Fords car ........He has a couple there ( AND a couple of T6's)doin mods for Ford, Mainly Exhaust ( On , BUT spoke to him monday , He reckons with "his" exhaust , bigger intrcooler, & radiator Easy 280--290 kws!.. Up the boost & skys the limit!.....Ford have stated that they have an "embarassing" problem with a detuned turbo 6 that OPENED up will eat their quad cammers !

Westpoint ,.........Do you know these guys?..... You know after all this running around, I'm gunna crucify Duhig Ford!.. I have bought ALL my past vehicles there including the "T" .... AND what do they do for ya?......NOTHING!!.......

AND Re: ..the "9 odd grand" difference , I meant , once you put a hard top & a spoiler on XR8 your at $47k odd O/Road, (H/top & spoil are standard on Pursuit) Which cums in at ........Well ok, $57( & a "little" bit) On/road .........Oh S..t, ....Bank manager PLEASE?? lol

Hey another "titbit" Re: insurance on XR6T ...AAMI have charged me EXACTLY the same as just XR6 , which is $1030 ( rating 1 etc) ......Apparently they show no distinction between the base XR & the turbo!!...They tell me , Not enuf info yet on claims on the "T" to raise the premium!......Interesting?

Hi CJF077...Charlie here!....Been to bayford ( Preston, Melb) today , to order XR8 ute...Gawd they know how to twist ya arm ...Offered me buggar all tradein on my ute , BUT , Really now seriously thinking of a Pusuit!...The list is endless in engine dept. compared with 260 XR .10.5-1 dome pistons versus 9.7 ( or something) .Totally different intake manifld, different cams, "proper" extractors ( not headers like XR), Different sump& oil pickup, the list goes on... + "nice 18"'s standard, GT seats, premium brakes( NOT brembos, that's extra $2800),GT type dash with brushed alloy cntrebit, AND build Number, But all in all for the 9odd grand difference, I Really think not bad value?..Your thoughts?

Hey Guys I have an AU11 with that sunglasses thingo in the roof....My son put my sunnies in there ( when the Ute was new)& I didn't find them til I was cleaning the ute out 3 weeks Later!!....Thought they'd gone forever!!....My T6 doesn't come with same thing...So I can now comfortably go back to sitting on them !!

Hi All!! New member here!...I have a T6 & also a Herrod 250 kw ute...the ute JUST pips the T6 ...ONLY just, though!...Had a drive of a Boss sedan on monday ( Auto)...The roar IS awesome!, however reckon the manual would REALLY get this beast moving?...The auto felt a bit "sludgy" to me?....
