Hi, Bluetooth OBD2 diagnostics reader, plugs into OBD port and stays there, I've also fitted an OBD extension lead and cable tied the reader to the side to take the weight of the OBD port (reader is bulky) and was also able to place the fusebox cover back on. Cheers.

Hey mate, it still hasn't been tuned, at the moment the ECU is flashed with a generic 8 PSI 95ron tune using an xcal 3, but filling up with 98. Actually took for a good run on the mountains and held up fine. In saying that, you should get a proper tune but I haven't gotten around to it yet. Cheers

It can be a risk, however If the repair work has been done well, you shouldn't have any drama's. You better be planning on keeping the car for a long time though, as people generally steer clear from repaired write offs.

Happy to help And yes, you can. Cheers.

Premium/colour ICC's have a video input for dealer optioned sat nav/DVD. Yes, Galaxy S RCA TV out cable plugs into converter, which converts the signal to NTSC (only format ICC supports.) Here's a Fordmods link which goes into depth, which should clear any confusion. http://www.fordmods.com/documents.php?d=38 Cheers.

that's correct, JVC h/u outputs to a carconverters PAL/NTSC to NTSC converter, which outputs its converted signal to the ICC. Converter accepts 2 video inputs, which are switch controlled: switch on left flicks between H/U and phone AV inputs, switch on right turns converter on/off, which returns ICC back to factory dual zone climate views. This isn't necessary though as the climate control pops up whenever a button on dash is pressed, just like factory optioned satnav/dvd does. Steering wheel controls were retained via a SWI-JACK. Samsung Galaxy S's TV out function, which outputs into converter -> ICC. Phone is mounted in glovebox and is always charging. Thanks guys.

Thanks for the kind words guys, small update, fitted the new HDI GT2 intercooler yesterday. Removal of front bar new cooler fitted Excuse the dirty engine bay. front bar back on Minor difference in power, however the engine does feel crisper/sharper under WOT, intake noise has deepened. Not the best cooler out there, but core looks sturdy. Hoping will be ok for the power levels I'm chasing (320~350rwkw. street driven) Next is Bosch 044 fuel pump, then book it in for a tune. Cheers.

Am highly considering tuning on E10 united fuel, cheaper than 98ron by around 19c per litre and Simon from Nizpro claimed that an increase in power (compared to 98) is possible and will be perfectly safe. Simon did mention E10 blend fuel is 3% less efficient than 98 ron. I have faith in Simon, but second opinions could never hurt. Cheers

a video converter with 2 inputs purchased from carconverters.com.au, phone pairs with a Bluetooth OBD2 diagnostics reader when key is turned.

Hey guys, first off, not too sure where this topic goes, so I apologize in advance to the mods if this is the incorrect area to post this, I tried the new members sub forums but link appears to be broken. New member here, however I have been snooping around the forums for several years now gathering info - great site, extremely informative, and helped me out heaps along the way. Name is Jas, am 24 years old(as of a few days ago) and live in Melbourne. I've been the lucky owner of a winter white '08 BF2 XR6T auto with the fake carbon inserts body kit for almost 2 years now. Car was bought stock, and only mods were slotted rotors, and F6 steel pan (carried out by NSW police). 2 years along and mods include: Intake: Custom CAI with 9" K&N podfilter, Turbosmart Kompact plumb back valve, Turbo: Earls braided oil line, Atomic Anchorlox exhaust: 100cpi full stainless 4" high flow cat ECU: flashed with Xcal3 on 8 psi tune (for now) suspension: King Springs 570lb fronts / 380lb rear, Monroe GT sports shocks, Whiteline swaybars 27mm front / 22mm rear. Pedders bump stops wheels: 19" genuine Dark Argents, kumho tyres Brakes: Cross drilled / slotted front+rear rotors, RaceBrakes pads, Motul dot 5 brake fluid. Stereo: JVC DVD touchscreen hooked up to factory ICC & steering wheel controls, Crescendo front+rear splits, RE Audio MX12 sub, DD amps. ECU stats displayed on ICC, via Samsung Galaxy S mounted in glovebox. Have a HDI GT2 cooler, Bosch 044 fuel pump and Deka 60lb injectors in the shed ready to go on, and then tune within the month. Aiming for 320rwkw, any more is a bonus. Spoke to bluepower, Pitlane and Nizpro - all were extremely helpful. Very excited. On to the pics, excuse the iphone pics, I'll upload better photos sometime in the future. Cheers.
