Yeah I think built shaft is what I'll do. Spoke to a place today and they said budget $2000 for changing the front flange to a uni. Chromoly tubes. Stronger centre uni. Larger centre bearing. Reckons I'll have change from $2000.... Sound ball park right?

Sup fellas, seems I snapped my Tailshaft at the drags last night. BA t56 sedan.. Tossing up my options as how to fix it. There's a genuine ford unused BF xr6t manual sedan shaft on eBay for $700. Wanna know if being a BF shaft will it bolt on or no chance.. Or modified to fit? Cheers

Yeah bud sucks balls.. One thing after another. Yeah that's the part that bolts onto the yoke that comes out of the gearbox.. Went bang that's for sure. I need to be pointed in the right direction for a new shaft!!

Yeah plenums Arnt cheap. And as far as I knew they barely gain more power, just faster spool time and better throttle response? I could be very wrong though. Yeah there are way to many options for my average car knowledge to help me choose the right one.. Haha will chat to Simon shortly and he can let the light shine down on the subject... Thanks for the info ripped definitely got me thinkin! And excited to have power to playyy!!! Lol

Cheers ripped! I was tossing up wether to do the plenum or not, I just find it hard to swallow at the price.. $1500ish.. But l guess if it's needed then I would wanna purchase that along with all the other gear before physically taking the car to Simon. Don't wanna get there and him say, you need this or you've got no chance.. As for the fuel pump I've got standard in there at the moment. Reckon I'll need a Walbro intank as well as the 044 on the surgey ???

Yeah Steve I'm allowing for it.. I know I can't wait to do this gearbox and performance mods then just enjoy it and leave it for a while. Famous last words I know but it's been getting alot of TLC lately.
