    Sorry mate yes it was $650 less than hardy spicer. Final drive - $1600 inc gst Hardy spicer - $2200 Excluding gst And the final drive quote includes chromoly tubes, Hardys doesn't.

    Had this happen to my old AU xr8, I believe it's pretty common with them and the water was getting inside thru the spoiler bolt holes. Ended up just buying a good condition same color lid for a few hundred dollars Alot cheaper then getting a panel beater and spray painter etc... Have a hunt around for a good condition second handy

    Front yoke changed to a 1350 series uni Over size centre bearing Centre uni upgraded to 1350 series Rear CV replaced as it was shagged Front and rear tubing is 2.5" thick wall chromoly. Built, balanced and fitted for $1600 inc gst

    Phil at Final Drive engineering, I just had a built Tailshaft put in by him and he did an oversize centre bearing at the same time. Good service and cheapest by $650 compared to hardy spicer. Oh and he used chromoly where as Hardys only offered steel

    Yeah Steve I know what u mean it's like that from new, it's not the rim cos I went and had it checked out but it's actually the chrome dish! They make them in a hard plastic and pretty much glue it onto the rim so if u ever get a slight gutter rash u can buy new chrome dishs...
