Hey ford lovers, Im back after many months of swapping around from the g6e turbo to a ve clubby ( worst mistake ) but now own a fpv f6 2008 for a really good price with low kms! But I have 2 problems with it.... Fuel lid wont stay in keeps popping out. ( not the fuel cap ) any ideas>??????? Passenger side mirror glass was popped out but I pushed it in... now will only go up and down. any ideas how to fix these please guys its damn annoying just got it but is a pain to drive. Mods so far just tuned.

If I was getting it tuned I would go APS in frankston or PITLANE PERFORMANCE in frankston. Best bang for your buck and Lou the tuner at APS goes thru the tune with you after he has perfected it.. 6 to 8 hour tune that's what I'm talking about!! Nizpro you will spend triple the price and get a 5 minute tune.... They are good but the amount you think your going to spend add $4,000 on top and the power you achieve is never enough there. That's my 2 cents anyway. ( I learnt from previous mistakes the hard way )

No LSD but only $900 for an xr6 turbo LSD or $1599 for a harrop true track LSD. As the song goes " so fly like a g6 " Ive had 0 problems with mine " touch wood " 08 g6e turbo just clocked 75,000km

My. Family has always said I'm to impulsive with my car chopping and changing so I felt like seeing if anyone else on this site was the same... I'll start it off. I'm 23 from Melbourne and I've had 10 cars now. 1) Toyota supra n/a 2) ford xr6 n/a Full license: 1)Toyota Supra single turbo 320rwkw 2) Ford bf xr8 270 rwkw ( waste of money modding ) 3) Ford ba typhoon ( killed it ) 4) Ford ba xr6 turbo ( highly modded killed it ) 5) Ford bf xr6 turbo ( highly modded killed again never learning ) 6) Ford bf Typhoon ( got rammed in the ass $17,000 fixed it and sold it ) 7) Ford xr5 turbo ( for some unknown reason... 2 weeks later sold it ) Ford g6e turbo ( stock only brembos and vertini's fitted ) keeping this one. Maybe I'm a ford man lets see how you guys rank up... Lol I have the Vic road transfers if ya don't believe me but 23 and 10 cars hope someone around my age can beat it lol...

I got them for $1650 + 79 for freight... They came from Californiavwithvtracking all the way... Took 4 working days beat that lol Sizes: 19x8.5 fronts 35 offset and 19x9.5 rears 38 offset. With the new brembos looks sweet!! Sssl rear ssl front

The last few weeks I've been hassling everyone over getting 19" staggered... Vertini magics. Everywhere is sold out n the staggered for the next 5 weeks and it wasn't good enough!!! I went on the search and I found cheap.wheels.direct@gmail.com his name is Gerald I do have his number Also but he searched Australia and ended up contacting Vertini in California!! On the 29/1/13 last Tuesday I paid via PayPal below retail price : ) Delivery included! On the 4/2/13 I've received the Vertini magics delivered to my door!!!! Beat that waiting 5 weeks paying $250 more I win lol Tomorrow I'm getting the brembo brakes fitted the vertini's fitted with the new Sumitomo's which are costing me a fair bit but well worth it. & lowered. Sorry I'm babbling I'm just damn excited!!

What mods have you done? Exhaust, cooler, valve springs, fuel pump, surge tank?, air box off turbo, battery relocate?

Whoever installed the DVD screens and the player should be liable if they stuffed it up... It's electronical can't be this hard... If they won't pay just pay yourself get the car out and don't go back to that place again. Bit dodgy but depends how far you want to go!! Hope it all works from now on, but ill never trust a dealer : )

Seems to get abit heated on here tonight, all in the name of power!!! It must be the damn fuel pumping thru the veins the e85 blood vs the premium 98 lol All in all it was about a parts list to ACHIEVE 400rwkw. It doesnt matter if your budget is $3000 you will end up spending $5000. Things dont always run right, my budget for my last car was $4000 in 2 weeks at nizpro I spent $12,000 then I sold it as it felt ******* was going to cost me another $8 to $10 to get it right. Just make sure you buy it all together and install and tune it altogether in the long run you will save $$$ on Tuning but that's about it lol a guy on here posted the other week about achieving 412rwkw in his g6e Turbo. Maybe check out his post, I cbf looking right now but goodluck do it right and make the car LAST the extra coin you spend will be worth it.

Hmm on the 19's best tyre setup? 235 fronts and 245 rears that's what they guy said im importing them front.... I sorta want fat tyres so can grip it when im flying

Yeah I've seen worms 20"s but I want 19"s don't know if he had a different offset. These are a special order from vertini in California... There sold out everywhere!

LoL if it was only that easy.... My Brembos havent been fitted as the g6e turbo rims are too small. So its Rims and Brembos installed at the same time, im wanting Vertini magics 19's 8.5 front and 9.5 or 10 rear with 35 offset and 38 offset rear. Need to make sure they fit over Brembos, BUT NO ONE KNOWS so frustrating my patience is wearing thin lol

LoL the picture didnt show, well that's annoying.... I brought a Set of FG F6 Brembos for the Front of my G6e Turbo..... Struggling finding a set of 19' rims that will FIT OVER the Brembos. Any Ideas would be greatly Appreciated. I love the Vertini Magics but Apparently there out and stock for 5 WEEKS and the guy isnt sure they would fit. I love the Concave Black look, any ideas HIT ME UP..... Cheers

Hey I just bought the only set of fg 6 spot brembo front kit for my g6e turbo now wondering as no tyre shop can answer me and I don't wanna stuff up... Can I fit vertini magics 19" staggered over the front 6 spots...

Hmm maybe I'll buy the harrop trutrack and just get the company to install it will save me $450 cheers guys. I don't like the 1 pegger in the g6e turbo so thought I better change this... Before I get into mods Bigger brakes next as these brakes are warped!!! This is car number 11 for me my 7th ford since driving lol I'm only 23 so this time instead of power first I'm trying to be smart!!

Yeah mate $2250 leave the car there 8hrs and done. Fully installed oils, bearings and seals.. I'll call them today again and let you know how I go. It's cheaper for a ute by the way, I was told yesterday.
