Just wondering whos had a go at making they're own turbo side intake? Iv got 4 weeks off over christmas so wanting to play around with making one up. Basically just using either stainless or mild steel exhaust cut off and a pod. Is it better to go 3inch or 4inch? And how essential is it to box the pod?

I have a pair of king springs kffl 57-sl they were originaly for my bf but sold it before I got to put them in, just wondering will they fit into my fg ute and will they lower it or am I better off getting a new pair for the front? If so what do you guys recommend.

Have tried 2 different stores both around the same price and been told I can only reset 2inch any lower id need new leafs

Got a 2010 xr6t ute noticed for a while now that in trip tronic the shifts are harsh and jolt,even short shifting the car jolts, but in drive and performance mode there smooth and cannot feel it shift just wondering if its normal or something to be concerned about.

Might have to start modding sooner rather than later then, its annoying how noticable it is

Fluid was flushed 2 months ago, would a cooler upgrade help?

Have a 2010 xr6 turbo completley stock, have notice lately coming into summer and on hotter days the car has become sluggish and less responsive, also after short drives without thrashing the thermo fan comes on. Brought the car in may so havnt had it while its been warmer weather. just wondering if its normal or is it something to look into?

Looking at doing some work to my fg xr6t, hoping for around 300rwkw as a start. Wondering if its worth going to 300rwkw and is it a noticeable difference over stock power? car will be a daily, would like some more bottom end pull and abit more aggresive.

Also I am using a bit of exhaust cut off im guessing its mild steel, will that be ok?

Yeah iv had a look through, most of it is how to do it or will my Fkn turbo spin backwards. Was more after if anyone has seen any changes to do with the filter sitting near the motor and any problems due to heat. It will be a temporary thing I will be doing turbo side intake at some stage but I have the material to do it so I thought id give it a go.

Wanting to fit a dose pipe this weekend to my fg xr6t, iv already blocked the blow off valve but I want it abit louder and more spool. just wondering is it better to relocate the battery and run the pipe to the front or is it ok to have a short pipe next to the motor. Will there be much difference in air intake and temps etc. Thanks in advance

Got a set of deka 60lb injectors given to me out of a ba, just wanting to know will they go straight into my fg?

Just something different and looks good, not many ego utes that have been modded out there I have noticed

Can get them resprayed for nothing that's why I was looking at doing it, rather spend the money on something else for now
