Yeah its just a guess with the values idk mechinc did it there telling me rebuild but if I can just do my head up and do bottom end next year would be good

hey guys I have a 05 typhoon which on the last tune was told I have blow by I've done a compression test all fine 182 in 4 cylinders and 185 in 2 cylinders it has 120000 on the clock I know my turbo has had it but it blow the dip stick out while being tuned just wondering does a pcv valve wear out or should I go catch can thanks

hey boys my turbo on my bf typhoon sh*t its self was wonder will a gtx3582r be a direct swap I have a 4 inch intake rear housing flaper mod done and 4 inch dump in know I need new silcone rubber frm turbo to pipe to turbo but anyfing else.thanks

hey guys I thinking of getting the throttle body relocation kit for my 05 typhoon has anyone got one or knw any info I like the sound of losing 1m of intercooler piping and do I need to change pipe from intercooler its a rapid v3 to suit process west pipe of throttle body thanks boys

when u do zf service do tranny cooler or new heat exchanger I got zf service 6 months later zf milkshake so yeah just my experience

Would it be cheaper going for a c10 of going manual if its $3000 for that and $5000 for rebuild that's f*cked

I just got a milkshake but I not quite shore if my mechtronics unit is gone car still drives just had to turn it around I will be getting a rebuild next year but I have a budget of $6000 if the mechtronics unit is gone I don't know if I got enough for it all I wnt a built gearbox if any one had the same problem any info would be good thanks

Oil is normal colour I think oil has mix with coolant

Hey guys my coolant milky as my partner drive it today it started over heating and find its or milky and it blew or over the engine bay (it got off ). Any way is it head gasket or a zf milkshake it's a zf 6 speed that is starting to slip it done 112000km with 338 rwkw it's a 05 bf typhoon. What's best brand for head gasket thanks

Hi guys I was told my engine has a bit of engine blow by I Havnt done a compression test yet I pulled off the pcv hose of and it had oil on it. Is that normal can has done 112000 km and tuner said it was done to the car pinging from old tune should I be alarmed with the oil on the pcv hose thanks

Ali tried to play with the settings of the box but this was the best outcome he could get so its time for a box rebuild as the old saying goes you get what you pay for

So turning off the torque reduction switch can that damage the gearbox

Hi been having trouble with so called custom road tunes so it went to bta motorsports to get a sct box and tune but on the dyno he said the box was slipping and needs a rebuild from my toque reduction switch being turned of the last tune was with hp tuners gearbox was feelin fine with hp but the engine tune was sh*t that's a whole different story and now they said I need a rebuild anyone else had the problem it slips in 4 it's had a gearbox service 6 months ago and done 112000 with no leaks any info would be good thanks 05 typhoon zf 6 speed

So can this surging damage my motor or should I just buy a new walbro intank pump

Yes I did there heaps of sh*t should I keep it and get a surge tank or buy a walbro and and surge tank set up Have u had 1 to ?

Is that's sh*t intank pump it a 400 lph cobra jet one or something else I just thought I need s surge and external pump

Hello my car surges pretty had on a half tank if I don't get a surge tank straight away will it damage my motor if I don't I don't allow it to go under half but up hills it surges I am going to buy 1 but will I need it sooner rather then later it has a after market in tank already thanks

This is not the only problem with the tune it runs rich as keeps bringing up a rich fault code and cat fault code it gone back 4 times mad it won't go back any more it might be a mechincal fault apart from this big flat spots And running rich I say tune isn't 100 percent I'm my line of work if I didn't do my job right the first time my kids would go hungry Thanks boys for your thoughts and good advice

Yeah I no all it takes is one person to think they can tune to take money for sh*t tuning work and then promote to the world they know there sh*t as long as my motor doesn't let go no real harm done

My problem is the car feels soft as in the mid rpm the person who did the road tune said port and flapper mod and actutor would fix it but feels the same before I did it car doesn't come on hard as it should like I ASK him to do I think I might not have had the flapper colsed right before I tighted the actutor bolt up just sounds wrong when I floor it it holds back a fair bit I think that's just the tip of my problem with this hp tune

Could this prove drangous to my car as the tune is rich as f*ck it's been back 4 times and now this problem yeah don't trust road tunes I guess
