Yeah the GSXR1000. This time were shooting for around 300hp on methanol, but the ultimate power goal is around 450hp on methanol using a bigger turbo in a year or so....or maybe less The tuner had a lean out on his 450hp Honda with the smaller Weldon 500hp/1000hp pump so stepped up to pretty much the same pump as this but with -8 lines. This is running all Aeroflow anodised fittings with -12 fittings and hose on the suction side and -10 everywhere else all the way back into the tank with ID2000 injectors, You can be sure this bike will not starve for fuel, but all this gear means im spending all this money only once no matter what turbo I use. Although I might starve after paying for it all :(

Weldon Pumps- For those times when you absolutely, positively, need to deliver a metric fukload of fuel. Got this today. Rated to 700hp methanol and 1400hp petrol. This is for my bike It's well oversized for my future needs but at least I won't run out of pump.

Okay so this is absolutely the last one for at least six months. The Motorplex had their awards night last night and my good result in the Grand Final meeting about a month back saw me grab third in the Modified Bike Championship. With the new bike combination and the step up to Group Two next season, I don't see any more trophies coming my way for a while. But you never know.

I took a brand new VPW Warehouse umbrella to work today because rain. I made the 6 minute walk from Pier St to Forrest Place in the wind and rain after work today to buy a bday gift for Mrs Speed. The umbrella made it as far as Wellington street train station before being left dumped in a bin in a tangled mess. Cheap umbrellas are crap, free ones are even crapper.

Kyle, I'm okay to run another maintenance day if Ralph wont be ready. Depends on when his car is back together I guess. We do need a few people with stuff to do though. I have a trans oil cooler if its at Lukes place, and his hoist is available, and someone is there who can hold my hand.

Speaking of which, I took this home for last night. Normally I would put my 10.06 on a 10.00 dial in with a .097 light up against anyone but was beaten by an awesome 9.53 on a 9.48 with a .002 light !!! Fukken tough to beat that. So that's it for me this season, this bike is being pulled down today to be converted back to the road. But is getting some new clothes first. Can't wait to get it back on the road, haven't ripped a decent wheelie in six months ! The Alky bike should be firing up within a month I reckon, so that will be the main race bike for next season.

I have a country cruise all mapped out. It's all out of town and on fun roads. I just need to get it on paper and I'll get a cruise up in the next few weeks. And then there's the two day down south cruise which is ready to go at any time. Steve and I were the only ones who made it last time, but it was widely referred to (by the two us) as the best cruise ever. Missus friendly and staying in a scenic country town with a great pub that sells beer and stuff. All you fools running corn juice will have to flick your 98 tunes in but it's well worth it.

This made me feel pretty good today.

My seat occasionally squeeks when the motor is lowered all the way down. I fix it by raising it just off the bottom.

Methanol Toads. 1300's are big enough for the HP I'm after right now as this turbo will probably max out at around 300 or 320hp. But by going 2000's now, when I upgrade to a bigger turbo later on and start chasing 400 plus, I will just need to find space for a feckin big fuel pump but I wont have to rebuy injectors. Idle will be an issue but I can live with it.
