Spotted a charcoal grey BA/BF F6 today with a wild looking flat black (probably primer) vented bonnet today. Had something like a V8 bulge with vents running down either side of it. It was behind me and could only see it in the mirror of the bike so couldn't get much detail. But it looked good.
Arron has a guard roller. I used a rubber mallet to gently push my guard back into place when mine picked up an edge just like yours. I dont have one here though. Maybe someone can bring one.
Just don't break any more critical bolts from being a hamfisted gorilla ! Fortunately the Late model camira of Shame is no longer with us, so if you do it again, you'll just have to take home the Madass of Terrorrrrrrr !!!
Arron, don't have the tube socket needed for the engine end can you bring it? Can you bring your has torch again for annealing washers ? Looks like there's a decent list of things to do. I'm past due for my 5k oil change so might as well knock that over too.
Rapid, it's probably going to be at my place and I've got pretty much all the hammers you'll need. Also, Arron will probably bring any specialised hammers he thinks might be necessary. Kyle, do you still want to do your turbo oil line?
I sold an old car project this week that I'd fallen out of love with and I really wanted the garage space for an enclosed trailer for the drag bike. So I spent half a day totally reorganising the garages and gained a heap of space and opened the space right up from how it was. I have about 2.4m on the other side of the ute with the racking up against the far wall, so all good!
So if I was to have a trailer built from scratch, is there anything special that needs to be done to register it? Obviously they don't need a compliance plate, but is there anything else I should know about?
Sweet ! Finally got my K6 on the road again yesterday, then the missus and I went for a ride to Rockingham today, tried a few second gear wheelies out Mundijong way and they were fully ghey. 6 months out of practice and going to clip ons from dirt bike bars will take some getting used to. Tank to be painted yet.
I was lucky enough to flick the tv over to catch the beginning. What a classic ! Every time I watch it, I always want to build a replica of the Goose's Kwaka.
I used nutserts for the first time today. I'm now in love and am thinking of leaving my wife to marry one. What an awesome little invention !!!! Here's a 5mm one I did a test run on. Then it was time for the real thing, this time in 6mm. So easy to install with just a nut, bolt and washer. I have a few things to mount on the Alky bike and this will make most of it a breeze!! So awesome I'm stoked !!!
