  1. Happy Birthday Greenmachine!

  2. Mine was running around the 12.2- 12.3 AFR and that was scary enough. Mind you at least I don't have to worry about snapping a crankshaft at 186 rwkw's
  3. Great day and reckon it ran pretty smoothly for the time I was there. My figures were close to what I anticipated (my hopes weren't that high) but was surprised to see some stockers run better numbers......... Good to finally put a face to a name to all the members that were there, catch you next time.
  4. Eugene count me in too, Good to see something close the Valley and I'm keen to see what the ol girl is putting out. I'll keep an eye out for the dates.
  5. Have you tried regapping plugs to 0.9mm or replacing them?. Might be worth a go, cheaper!!.
  6. Has anyone fitted other guages to the Typhoon or pods???. I tried to fit a Speco meter boost guage to mine but the mounting holes were different and the studs not long enough to fit through. Without trying anheap of different guages there must be one or two the fit OK ???? I HOPE !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  7. Note the poor performance (and therefore wrap) the XR6T got at the Motor's Aussie Brawl.......... They noted well and truly how slow the car was down the 1/4 and on the track compared to the car 2 years ago!.It dynoed a big 192.8 rear wheel kw so where was the loss of speed???. My guess this is how Ford are now setting the tune on the new T's and flashing this into our cars when getting their little mitts on them when servicing or repairs. The XR6T they tested was a embarrasment to every T owner (14.81 @ 157kph/ 97.5mph). Ford certainly aren't doing themselves ANY favours in the eye of the public lately, it's hard to see a good write up at all anymore, especially after the Typhoon disaster (I bet they are swamped with orders!!!!). Blind Freddy Jesus can see they need to get MORE grunt to keep up with the "Jones's" but they seem to be happy to go slower. They should be aiming at the 300kw /600nm mark.
  8. Yep I notice the same mark on my rears when they were changed out, but seeing as they were being changed didn't worry too much but I am keeping a close eye on this set I have had 2 buckled rims (17") and actually got warranty with the first one, but got told Fords stance was any more claims on rims would be determined as driver "mistreatment". I had a rim go back and forth to Ford Melbourne about 3 times before getting this answer!!!!!!. Funny how the mark 2 came out with different rims....... Has anyone with a mark 2 had problems yet???
  9. What happened to Lowndsey??? I see he took pole but finished 14th??.
  10. Thanks rednut, I'll do a bit of E-bay surfing. Sounds like a good way to have a bit more fun when out cruising! :banghead:
  11. Sounds good, might give it a go. How much for a standard aftermarket BOV and how much mucking around to fit one from auto barn, supercheap ect?? :banghead:
  12. Had front discs machined at approx. 16000klms and have now got 34500klms and have had no recurrence whatsoever? Have had 300kw upgrade since (at approx. 20000klms)and given her some harsh everything, including braking!. Heard that the series 2 is coming out standard with the premuim brakes (Brembo's I think!) to solve problem. ---- Spewing----
