  1. hey everybody can any one tell me if there eny diffence in the heads on a turbo engine and a egas , same cams and so on , I just brought a e gas engine to build for my ba that will be fully forged bottom end just wondering if we use the egas head just ported and springs and race valve job if it will be ok . I had abit of a search and couldnt find eny thing , mabey im searching wrong eny help would be great .
  2. that's gas 747 , there a pritty hypo orange mustang kicking around , all built by the same man. and a 700hp turbo v8 ltd built by a guy from act, since they jacked the gas prices up its hardly worth it but I just like gas as its differnt , and with gas research the mixer and throttle bodys all is one thing , need to use the gas research throttle body .
  3. its a 05 mark2 ba turbo , the gas system is legal with the way I will set it up , 350rwk plus would be great pritty much as much as I can get using just one mixer , and gas research is not so much of a gas ring system , it flows much much more . they have run some very fast times on gas research , and you can still have a nice clutter free engine bay is the main reason I like it , if I could do away with all the injection stuff and just make the engine run of the basics I could make it all very tidy , I have a 6 speed manuel also so no need to run the auto.
  4. hi all ive been toying with the idea of fitting my gas research stuff I have on a old turbo crossflow falcon to my ba turbo . the thing im struging to get my head around is how I would get it to work as I have todo away with fly by wire for it to work , wich unless I can get the car to run with its ecu with only a tps and a cable thottle , or adapt gas research to run the fly by wires stepper motor is the only way it will work , and both things I dont think will work . my plan atm was to go stand alone ignition , lock the vct and just run the gas research all very basic , the thing I dont no is how I will run the dash and all the sensors and so on , how much does the ecu run is really my question . if I set it up basic and just left the ecu hooked up with out the injectors and ignition hooked up what would happen , I no I could just use vapor injection , but its very messy and has its restrictions I no I can get alot more hp out of gas research . and still if its all to hard ill just stick with petrol and give up . eny ideas or help would be great .
  5. thanks for that ill be getting a kit after xmas , the 4 link will be legal the cars going onto club rego soon as its done and a c4 auto ,
  6. hey all im looking for someone to convert my ba to solid rear end in vic . or even a few photos I can take around to a few local guys , sick of my clunky old irs diff after two diff bushs and lots of punishment needs a rebuild , cant justify spending coin on the irs when it will never do what I wont plus I really want to fit some decent tyres under the back with a full set of convos instead of just the fronts having them. eny help would be great cheers nathan

  11. im after some help on fitting a set of 22 inch rims on my ba . they fit on the back no problems and I can get them to fit on the front with spacers "not the correct way I no " ive read they will fit with major suspension work . what is this major suspesion work is my question , just like adding coilovers to gain strut clearance . im guessing this question may have been asked alot by people not really wanting todo it . but I have searched and not alot of real answers thanks for eny help nathan
