  1. I put awkw because I drive a territory turbo which is awd. From what I understand most of the standard territorys will be about 160awkw on a dyno and ford states that they are 245 at the flywheel. By working it out this way my 260awkw works out to be 398kw flywheel which is almost 500hp? Anyone agree or disagree, I would like to know if this is accurate. Thanks, stocka
  2. Hi all. Just wondering if anyone knows how much power is lost through the drive train? Does any one know the conversion? I have 260awkw and would like to know what this is at the flywheel. Cheers, stocka.
  3. Hi all, Just wanted to thank you for all the help through my modification process, the forum has been a great help, end result is...... K and n filter, self modified air box, platnum plugs, 42 pound bosch injectors, full 3inch system including cat and sct tune resulting in 260awkw. Will run quarter mile in the next couple of months and will update on time. Cheers, stocka
  4. Hi I just got my terry modified and tuned and am very happy with it. I saved money by buying my injectors, platnum plugs, and k & n air filter all on line then installed them myself and done my own airbox mods. I went to my local performance exhaust shop and got them to do full 3inch with turbo hi flow mufflers and got them to install my magnaflow 3" stainless cat aswell, which I also bought off line to save again. I then took my car to croydon performance who did the custom tune......$1500 for tune with 3 maps on sct hand tuner all included. This was 3 weeks ago and so far im very happy. All together it cost me about $3000 and I now have 260awkw and was told by the tuner no need for a transmission tune even though they do them and the option was there. Hope this helps, cheers.
  5. ok cheers. Also how do you view members pictures of thier terrys??????
  6. Thanks again for all the info. Still not sure what to do about gearbox tune? Is it needed for the 250awkw mark? I have decided I am going to do tune, bosch 42p injectors,100 mettalic cat, and k&n filter hoping for 250+awkw, although most tuners want to do full exhaust system if they are going to touch the exhaust at all but I think value for money this combo will give me best bang for my buck. I think I am going to get croydon racing development to do the tune.........any comments. Cheers, stocka.
  7. Thanks for your replys. how many rwkw is the fuel pump good for?
  8. Hi all, Just picked up my new territory turbo my07 and I am lovin it, but ready for mods. After reading thru the forums I thought the best way to go would be debung, cai mods(drill a few holes on tthe bottom front face of the airbox), tune, injectors and hi flow cat as this is what alot of you have done and seen reults around the 260rwkw mark. I went to c & v performance today as I live in sydney and they said not to go the hi flow cat as the standard intercooler would not cope and it will get hot and it will spike the computerl. Not sure what to think of this??? Can anyone help??? They reckoned that the standard cat restricts and protects the car from boosting too much and in turn getting too hot...... unless you go front mount. They also said just doing debung, cai mods, tune and injectors I would get 230 to 250awkw and would have to go the gearbox tune or it will fry the gearbox?????Can anyone help or confirm this? It would be good to know of someone that has had mods done in sydney, where they went and what type of results they got. Anyone who can comment on this or has done these mods it would be great to hear from. Thanks, Stocka.
  9. Thanks mal, Sorry probably didnt explain properly, I am selling my non turbo territory and buying a turbo territory and just wanted to know if there was any changes between 06 and 08. You did answer my brake question though, so cheers.
  10. Hi all, About to upgrade my 04 awd ghia to a awd ghia turbo, just wondering if there was any changes in the ttg between 06 and 08. Also are the brakes the same on the turbo model as the non turbo? Any info to help with purchase would be appreciated. Cheers Luke.
