Do the F6's and G6ET's use the same fuel pump? What's the difference in size between injectors, F6 v G6ET

Pretty much what I've got planned when warranty runs out. Was warranty a non issue to go this level and what about insurance. Are these mod's noted in your insurance policy. If I can ask, how much did it all cost?

Let me know when your booked in, might be able to make the trip over a speak to the guys at Pitlane at the same time as seeing first hand their good work. If you don't mind a tag along that is. How you handling insurance issues? warranty is my other concern, is why I'm waiting till 3 yrs is up. What level you looking for?

Payed $52,000 in May 2010 for 0km, White, Pedders Lowered, Tint, Mats and DVD. Traded an 18 month old Calais V with 32,000km's and they gave me $4,000 more for it than any other dealer. So, put it all together, sensational looking and performing car and an excellent trade in. Considering I don't pay for the car, haven't had to pay for petrol for the last 22 years, tolls etc, who cares if you pay a little more for the car. I still sit there a look at the beast and think WOW, can't wait till it hits 3 years, then I own it outright, warranty concerns are over and I can start some mod's. Off the topic, who would you recomend in Melbourne to speak to about mod's when the time is right? At 50, I'm not after a rocket, just looking to put a smile on the face. Cheers, EWT

Hi Dilz, What else have you had done so far and why are you thinking of replacing the rear with hotdog? Are you looking for performance or just sound?

I'd really love to hear it close up to help make up my mind. Anyone in Melbourne that has the centre replaced with hotdogs and can spare some time, please let me know. I was originally thinking of simply removing the rears. Has anyone done this, and if so, how's it sound in and out of the car? Kink, from the sound of it, you didn't go with hotdogs. Is this correct?

Hi "Kink". Just trying to get up to speed. Was it the rear muffler you removed? I'm not overly interested in any extra power, nor in hoon like sound, just something a little extra compared to stock. Cost versus benefit has me thinking removing the rears only. Any thoughts.

Currently have a 2010 G6ET that I intend keeping for another 6 months before considering either another G6ET, or an F6.(Company car thing) I've lowered, tinted, 19's, and a dvd, it's a super car, so is there enough difference between the two cars to show for the extra cash needed to get into an F6?

Would droping the rear muffler be the easiest , cheapest way to get an improved sound? Has anyone done this, and if so, any problems?

First timer at this, but looking for advise on getting a better note from my G6ET also. Would simply removing the rear muffler be adequate without having to spend big bucks?
