  1. whats the best way to block up the return pipe for the BOV with the BOV from overship as a bung wasnt supplied. Is it necessary to cut the pipes to do it? cheers
  2. there is different variances within each paint code some can have up to 10 or maybe more. Paint code on some cars is not enough for a good match, your best bet is a panel shop so the painter can mix some up and do a spray out card to find the variant or if they use a spectrometer it can automatically tell you.
  3. yeah I was gonna go the turbosmart one but Im going away soon and have very little to spare lol haha Im not running quite that much.... Is it exact same or a different copy? how much cheaper!? lol feel like such a jew. Ahhh to many quotes!
  4. depends what colour car you have on how important the colour match is, black is not to bad but ble green and colours like these if the colour match is off it can look disastrous. Touching up over the top with a bit of clear is good as it blends and also protects the base coat touch up paint as it doesnt have as strong hold out rating as clear.
  5. ah well cant complain for 65 bucks!
  6. installed overship BOV, pretty happy with the sound got it set fairly soft. I'll put a video up in the next day or so!
  7. spotted orange xr6t in wollongong on saturday night about 10 30 plates JUC14U, CV sticker on back.
  8. ok well I'll put it on and let you know how its goes, if its sh*t ill just order a Turbosmart kompact. Whats the diapragm one? hows that work different? cheers.
  9. Sorry to revive this old topic guys but the dual port bov's are back on sale from overship just encase anyone wanted to know. And whats the conclusion on them? Is anyone still running one and if so had any problems? as ive just ordered one

  11. If you take your tail lights to a panel beaters the painters there (If they know what they are doing) should be able to mix up a clear tint they can spray on the outside which will save you pulling your tail lights apart and will still be glossy and be done properly. The tint will also peel off (eventually) from the inside if you do it the other way as paint does not stick to plastic well. You need to clean it with wax and grease remover and then apply a clear plastic adhesive primer so that the tint will stick, you can get all this stuff in pressure packs if you want to do it yourself but wpuld turn out heaps better if done proffessionally but to each their own. :dwarf:
  12. yeh that's just how they are. Theres a certain way you have to turn it and its hard to do without scratching the bar.
  13. Thanks guys that's awesome! will have some pics of my car up this weekend! Dane
  14. Sorry if this has already been asked but I did a search and could not find anything (maybe I wasnt wording it correctly). Im having problems uploading photos cause they are to big (2.6mb) they are in JPG format and Im not sure how to make them smaller so I can upload them. This may be a stupid question but any advice would be appreciated! Thanks, Dane.
  15. Love the XA's piston broke. Thanks for the welcome guys! So when is the next cruise happening around sydney?, or in NSW? Dane.
