Quick question, has anyone used Valvoline ATF DX-3 in a manual FG. If so, any good? Can you use it? Something else?

According to the manual there is no such thing, which is why I asked. There's also very limited information in the manual. When you indicate, you can hear a relay operating behind the dash cluster, however that would only be the relay controlling the green arrows on the cluster. I bet Ford are closed for the holiday season as well. Just my luck.

And where's the relay situated so I can test it?

'Indicator bulb failure' keeps poping up on the screen on the dash of my FG ute. None of the fuses are blown, however none of the bulbs work. When a bulb blows, are all of them supposed to stop working? So annoying.

Bought there new stepped cooler, will post up results including IAT's when I get back on the dyno.

Every time I use the indicator stalk, the screen on the FG dash keeps saying there's an indicator bulb failure. Happens either left or right signaling. No indicator works, not even on hazard lights. All bulbs are fine, and the 10A fuse isn't blown. Also when I indicate the relay is blinking. Help?

So I just called up Ford at Capalaba, and they want $360 to change my engine oil and filter, a check over of the car, and to put the computer on it to see if there's any codes. What a f*cking rip job. What are they actually supposed to do on the 15,000km service, and where else could I get it done at a reasonable price, maintaining my new car warranty in Brisbane? What sort of power figures will I be looking at with these mods on my FG ute; PWR stepped intercooler Coolerworx piping kit Plazmaman 4" intake 60lb Dekas Tune Just wanting to do some base mods before I go all out. Also, how good is the stock boost system at controlling boost? Is it quite level or does is want to jump up and down ~1psi and taper off toward redline? Cheers.

Okay... bought a brand new FG xr6t ute, and I've been out skidding a little bit in her, and it's got insanely bad axle tramp. Now, was wanting to know what suspension mods I can do to rid myself of this annoyance. I'm new to Fords and especially something with leaf rear end. I'll be using the ute as a tow car to tow my drifter around, and as the odd drifter at QR/Archy so to save myself blowing boxs/clutchs I would like to get rid of it, but have no idea where to start! Help us out. Cheers.

Ended up taking it back to the dealer. It was the combo switch and they've fixed it. Cheers people.

Only thing I can think of is your wastegate isn't closing. Double check your flapper can close/open freely. It wouldn't matter that the turbo has been cleared by MTQ, they wouldnt have had the dump pipe to check to see if the flapper can close properly, correct?
