Sorry quaddie u may have answered this I'm a little confused. I havnt had premo sound before but new shell I have is bday with premo. So with the stock fraud amp and parcel shelf sub wired up you don't get full range to the 4 speakers?? Does this mean your actually losing speaker quality by having the stock sub and amp hooked up? If u want decent stereo should you be unplugging stock sub and amp and not running them at all? Sorry mate just bit confused when u said disconnect amp to get full range on speakers

So out of factory how are the 2 tweeters actually wired up? 2 wires go from loom to speaker, are there 2 wires spliced into that for tweeters out of factory?

Hey guys I'm just enquiring about the shifters in the 4 speed auto and the 6 speed auto. During my car rebuild the shell I purchased was bf that had the 6 spd in it. The shifter and surround were still in it. Is there anything different with the actually shifter or is it pretty much the same as 4. If I install my 4 spd auto with loom and everything can the 6 spd auto shifter and surround still work or do I have to put my 4 spd in? If I have to use my 4 spd shifter and surround has anyone modified it to look like the 6 spd one with the "leather" around it? It's nothing to serious just wondering since inside the car is where you spend your time I like interior to look good and I think the 6 spd shifter looks a hell of a lot better and neater Cheers guys

Hey guys Changed over all my exterior to the new shell the other day and found as per usual most of the plastic clips are broken. Few questions: the plastic clips with the plastic Phillips head screw in middle that are used around top of front bar, these tend to break all the time does anyone know where you can buy bulk amounts of these clips for a good price eg. Pack of 30? Next question, after accident tow truck pulled the rear skirt off and all clips came out. Can anyone tell me what sort of plastic clips go right around underneath joining the bottom skirt to the rear bumper. Are they the bigger push in clips or are they the above mentioned screw in middle clips? Or a different sort again? And does anyone know what size they are as in hole size? Are they 8mm? Cause I found a seller on eBay with lots of different types so if I can find size I could just use different type. Cheers for that guys sorry if it sounds confusing lol

For anyone that is still unsure REPLACE stock filter NOW! It is tiny and completely useless and causes turbo failure. I didn't know how pathetically tiny the stock filter was until it blocked up and I blew my turbo. It's impossible to imagine what ford were thinking but $100+ for a good earls one it is definitely worth it. Pretty positive rapid sells them too for a good price

Yeah pic is under first post. Rings a bell pretty sure white one is mobile one. Black one with purple is under column it's not for any switches their all plugged in I'm guessing something they added to bf after the ba

that rings a bell so the white plug is just the mobile phone connector? Any ideas on black one with purple clip it wasnt on my old ba dash only the new bf one

Hey guys Its come to the stage of the rebuild where im doing interior so I started putting it all in new shell today. When doing steering wheel plugs I came across a few Im not sure of/cant remember. The white plug from memory didnt plug in anywhere was just an extra and I was using one wire for power at one stage, can anyone confirm it doesnt plug into anything? The other plug is not in the dash of my old one I had a look, is it possible its an extra plug for something that BF models had that my old BA didnt? Its little black plug with purple clip on side. Any ideas as to what this one is? Cheers

Hey mate what is it your trying to do? Why do u need to know what wires on the plug do what? Been few weeks but if u still need to know its on diagram Red = acc Green = diag Yellow = in+

From what I've read about the tweeters on the wiring diagram they just tap into the speaker wire which means there may not be a plug. My guess would b easiest way is to just splice into speaker wire and connect your tweeter. 3 speakers are in passenger side loom and one speaker is in drivers side loom let me know if u need colours for which speaker is which

looks interesting wondering how it would go with most subs though as its so thin looks like it would need to be used with a free air sub?

changing to the dual climate control is a pain in the ass not sure how many ppl have actually done it usually just go the bigger screen icc.. dual climate goes through a lot of stuff, it is even wired into the passenger side mirror so when you put car in reverse the mirror tilts down to see the gutter not sure how much luck your gonna have man :(

Hey guys Im pulling out the rear end running gear on the ba turbo and was hoping to pull it out all in one piece or maybe 2 but worried its not gonna fit out when the car is on stands. Also any pointers or tips people could recommend to make the job easier? Guy at wreckers told me there was a few bolts up the top to undo first or it will be a pain in the ass getting out, any ideas what bolts he means? Any help highly appreciated Cheers

Not sure if they work or not.. I noticed today the empty rebuild shell I purchased has one of these installed and there is no rust in the car... BUT the car is only a few yrs old and looks taken care of so I guess it could swing either... guess its a piece of mind thing but end of the day taking care of your care will probably do the same trick and be a lot cheaper

you should have no issues getting to mounts from underneath dude I recently took the engine and gearbox out as in one piece and I got to them both from just underneath and an extension bar

still cant find anything on how to port the wastegate and I dont intend on having much power for a long time as my 4 spd just wont handle it

oh ok ill have a look is it pretty basic to port out wont cause overboost or anything?

its just the 4 spd auto.. what do u do to the actuator and how do u port the wastegate what do these do?

Hey guys As ive started my new car rebuild and took the engine and gearbox out on the weekend. Question is, is there anything people would recommend doing while engine is out of the car? It has done 140k so guessing gaskets or seals etc? Cheers
