Hey guys simple question When you install a trans cooler the radiator is then bypassed, does this mean if you ate using an aftermarket trans cooler a radiator out of a manual could be used? Cheers

yeah man people have the big pwr tranny coolers mounted behind the huge nizpro intercoolers and it fits..... just..... but it fits so with stock stuff it will fit easy peeze japanesey

Seriously? With the ba and bfs havin a habit of blowing tailshafts nobody has any info on this?

Someone can correct me if I'm wrong but I'd imagine if your car is completely stick then I can't see a reason why u couldn't get a good size one without a tab to fit behind intercooler

Hey guys, Just wondering if anybody knows if the tailshaft out of a bf 6 speed auto is the same as one out of the ba 4 speed auto? Ive gone to put my tailshaft out of my old ba 4 speed auto into a bf shell and the mounting bracket doesnt line up, seems the holes in the shell are closer together looks like made for a mounting bracket that's not as wide. The 4 speed gearbox mounted up on the bf shell just fine everything lined up so I would have thought if that did then the tailshaft would as well? Is this strange or can I get the center bearing/bracket out of a bf/6 spd and use in the tailshaft? Cheers guys

Hey guys, may sound like a silly question but ill do it anyway lol Since im rebuilding my car from pretty much scratch the car was an empty shell and other one was stripped so its come time to put on radiator/thermo fans/air condensor and not 100% sure how its mounted... you have the little steel bracket on each side at top that bolts onto radiator and the frame of the car, is there a bottom support bracket the radiator sits on or is it just held in place by the top 2 bolts and hoses? Its been that long since ive seen it in person I cannot remember for the life of me and cant find any pictures so anybody that can help would be great and any pics would be appreciated cheers

there still seems to be a fair amount of decent single din no screen dvd players from JB hi fi and such.. ive always been a pioneer kinda guy cant really guy wrong just goes by personal preferance

Thanks foxtrot any idea which is which? I got a plug and I cut off wire? So worse case scenario if I just run to constant power it won't close by itself when ignition is switched off yeah?

Hey guys The new shell I bought for my car has a sunroof bit the wiring has been cut and just wondering if someone could help me. The wiring that comes down a-pillar from sunroof is red and has a small plug on one wire and the other has been cut. My assumption would be the plug is a positive and the cut one was wired into a negative. Can anyone clarify or have wiring diagram? Cheers

Hey guys Ive had to change over dashs as part of my rebuild. I noticed when dash was out it has a fair size plug looks like ecu plugs. It is down bottom. Underneath the console at front there is 2 sockets, one is where the big plug from gearbox shifter loom plugs into and then a socket in front. Problem is ive pulled out dash in old one, dash in new one and neither time I unplugged this plug and dash came out so does anyone know what this plug is and if its even used as im pretty positive it wasnt plugged in either car

Mate there just clips that push into frame just gotta pull them from bottom toward front of car be gentle but firm like grabbing a ladies backside

Is there any knack to putting the dash back in? As you have to be but rough to get it out do u have to be rough to put back in or just line up with steel clips and push it forward?

Mate all the speaker wires are in the big main loom that has the orange plug behind passenger kick panel. Lots of wires so be careful. The one your looking to tap into is passenger side front speaker which is Grey with green trace Grey with blue trace

As far as I know yeah that seems to be what people do just really tape up boot as sh*t gets everywhere

I have never used kerfing wood what is it exactly? Probably would b alright I've always used MDF it's pretty cheap and can buy good sizes

I agree with Dave I've had full stereos using both type of wiring and barely noticeable IMO. Amp wiring such as power and earth I've always used a good thick wiring but just for speakers I'd just go the super cheap ones On separate note what head unit u go for? Any good what price range?

Sounds like a bad connection maybe an earth come loose
