so ive just recently found my radiator had gone (04 ba xr6t) and I was looking at replacing it myself. (save me some dollars) and was just wondering about the trans lines and what will happen when I disconnect them? as far I as I no its a sealed trans so if I lose any oil that would be bad right? so yeh any info on this would be fantastic cheers!

Ok so I have been told my center bearing needs to be replaced and also that I will be looking around the $250-$300 mark, I have been looking online and have seen some people doing demos on youtube of how to replace them by yourself. so was just wondering has any one attempted it and how did they go? it I can do it id rather tackle it than fork out hundreds cheers

For a while now my heater hasnt been working and it hasnt bothered me as it hasnt been overly cold but now its starting to get really cold and I want it. So what I was wondering was if there was a way to see if it is a problem with the mixing tube (I think it is) or the HIM that I can check or will I have to fork out some dollars to find out. Cheers

I was hoping to get around 310-350 range and yeh I dont I stick to drive lol and I am in vic

so I have an 04 xr6t 4sp auto and I heard that some box's don't like the higher rwkw range and decided they don't want a bar of it so was wondering if there are kits ect that I can buy or do I need to get it engineered?. I'm a little unsure about these cars when it comes to this so any advice would be great

agreed. I had this problem not to long ago in my 04 xr6t was the inlet manifold gasket on cylinder 1 started out as nothing and got worse that's a video of my car doing it. if yours is the same its a possibility

I thought id update this so if people are having the same problem then it may make it just that much easier for them to diagnose. I noticed a hissing sound coming from the engine took it to the mechanics and my inlet manifold gasket had actually broken away on cylinder one. took to pit lane in frankston within halfa they had gotten back to me with the problem. fixed same day and now runs like a champ

ok so I got my new tps today installed it no dramas and then I went to start the car and now the the problem is worse lol. if I turn the key untill all the display lights come one ( oil petrol seat belt ect) I can see the valve in the throttle body move a bit and then hear a ticking noise that sounds like its coming from my fuse box ( on the left hand side of the car) thankfully I still have the old tps so if I feel the need to drive it I can but yeh just not sure what the go is with it

I have just ordered my self a new tps so once installed I shall let you no how it goes!

Kosij yeh when I want to drive I rev it and it doesnt do it. I only didnt rev it for the vid lol

I uploaded a video of what my car is doing so it might give people that no alot more than I do a better understanding of what im trying to explain lol
