  1. ok whos got them in there xr6 turbos.... are they worth fitting are they worth the money??
  2. what about the Acuator is that worth swaping The 5 speed will be changed to a 6 speed later on down the road Funds dont alow me to have it yet im just trying to what as much as I can without Putting any of the cars at risk
  3. oh and the Both Cars have Standed Tune at this point in time the FG will be traded in and the BA will get a tune later on down the road

Gday guys as the tital states id like to know if its worth swaping over I have my 03 BA XR6 turbo Stock turbo No mods to the Turbo itself but for the Plazmamen intake Now I MIGHT have the Chance to Swap the turbos and Acuators over from a 08 FG XR6 turbo But both Cars Must still drive Like normal after Swap is done and is it any gain for me to do it my ba has done almost 150,000 and the Fg has done about 30,000
  6. how do I fit one upto my BA XR6 urbo as iv been fiven one aswell so I thought why not fit it its a gready one I dont know anymore then that and I have to make a new loom for it as my bro( one who gave it to me Lost the loom )

  8. gday guys as the title says I would like to know what the Standed Size Throttle body is and would a 80MM throttle Body be any gain to me in the Now and Later on Down the Road Plazmaman Under bat intake Rapidsystems Cooler and Cold side Pipeing Standed Tune and Boost ATM my hole idea about this is my mate has a BF XR6 with a John Bowe proformance 80MM Throttle body and we are looking at swaping them with cash his way if is a gain to me..... as he is about to put the car up for sale

  13. ok guys I have a BA MK1 (May 2003) 5 Speed manual I have a HD clutch and a Stage 2 Rapidsystems cooler kit with plazmaman Under bat intake and Turbo Earls Inline oil filter kit id like to know for a Tep time will I be able to get a boost tap and crank the car up a little to give it a bit more go its running 4PSI Standed but bost spikes to 5 id like to take it to 7-8PSI will I have any drama to do this untill I can afford a Tune (Have a XCAL 3 From old car)

  15. wow I should proof read things :( woops sorry guys yeah ill give them a buzz me thinks then anything I should do b4 takeing it there.. with will give me the most out of the tune iv got K and N pannel filter, front of airbox cut out, HD cluch (donno brand as it come with the car) I was going to cut the standed crossover and weld plates to the holes and remove airbox and pipeing from turbo that runs to airbox then put a pod on the turbo! is that going to work for now untill I can get the money for a full cooler kit
  16. ok guys I have been thinking about this for some weeks and have come up with a prob .... What tuner im from the western suurbs now I know of theres Bluepower (chris) (done my au) (and all the cars are known to run too rich) Dynomint proformance (witch is down the road form my work) CV proformanve in hellam (neer the gf's house) Pitlane proformance in frankston (neer the gf's house) what is the best one to go to that wont spin me sh*t and wont cost me a arm and a leg and will help me get what im looking for and not kill the somewhat econamy I have now as my old au killed me in the prices and the amouth of 98ron it drank im talking 150 - 200k's around town much help would be a help
  17. hey guys iv got a BA XR6T MK1 manual(T5) its stock besides K&N Hi flow pannel fiter HD Cluch And Front of Airbox cut out im after power but id rather take the safe way but whats got me confused is what would happen to the car if I was to change the dump and cat or just the cat now without a tune will the car run right or will it render the car undriveable untill I get a tune???

  19. why wont lock tight work if its high temp / high vibration proof ?? sorry I dont know as I need to get this fixed asap as im driveing the car from melb to ad next weekend
  20. ok guys I took the heat shilding off yesterday to check on the bolts to find one is not there anymore (one of the 4 bolts that hold the turbo onto the manafold so what id like to know is what should I replace them bolts with or how can I get new ones .... without costing me heaps... Iv brought locktight to stop them from comeing out again much help your be good
  21. thanks mate see im going to chase the 300+ group and seeing as this is my 1st turbo car im still trying to work out things... I have a Worked AU N/A with is turnd by bluepower with a Xcal 3 so this is all new to me lol will it be worth me buying this 8PSI ACTUATOR AND ROD setup on my turbo or not? if so ill get it and keep it for when the car is about to go for a tune wold anyone recomend going to bluepower or Dynomint poformance as im in melb thanks for the help Cheers Andrew
  22. hey guys I have a Pretty much stock 03 BA XR6 turbo with a T5Z box with a HD clutch I would like to know if it would be safe to push the car up from 4 PSI of Boost to 8 as it sits now by putting a FG 8PSI ACTUATOR AND ROD setup on my turbo??

    thught id add my part I joind the forums because I brought a xr6 turbo about 3 months ago and thought this forums could help me on my long road of turbo falcons I drive a 2003 BA XR6 Turbo 5 speed manual (T5Z me thinks) my other car is a Worked I6 AU 1 Firmont running a 14.7
