  1. im looking for the 400+ I just put a almost new motor in my ba ... FG MK2 F6 bottom end with my recoed BA head with BA cams iv done everything the only things left on the list is a plenum and hot side pipeing.. at the moment im running 334RWKW @629.2NM @15PSI (with old motor)

  3. ok guys what do you think I need to do to Get her into the 400's or close to it wanna get to the low 11's high 10's IV now got a FG F6 bottom (new shot block) Power bond 20% under drive kit (old ballancer was not looking too good) VDO Coil's New Harf sharfts was thinking FG F6 or BF MK2 Cams... but I dot know if its worth getting them

  7. problem sorted.... it was the retainer clips on the lifters ... changed them with new ones issues fixed... (chips where loose as ) oh BTW the Oil PSi on cold start was 90-100PSI! on another note... how do people go around adding OIl Pressure and Temp Sencers on without useing a Plate for the filter....

  10. ill connect the gauge up tomorrow and see what happens... the head was recoed and tested I re assembled the cams and rockers as per ford specs

I had my mate come have a look at it who is a macanic for toll and he thinks my oil pumps not flowing enuf at low revs to loob the rockers and I need a new oil pump what is the oil pressure ment to be on idl for this motor? I have a oil pressure gauge witch is not connected but I will have it connected tomorrow morning to check

  14. its ment to be a BF one but I had to cut a bit out of my drivers side mount for it to fit and the build date is this year so its got me thinking its FG sorry about the large pics
  15. that's the only thin I can put it down too seeng as the block pistons rods crank are all Brand new assembled from ford... but anything could be possable with my luck
  16. well I have a little update.... the car is all back together with a F6 block... got 2 little issues witch have me a little bit worryed... 1st one the rockers are Nosie at anything lower then 1500RPM any higher and theres not a sound from them done 20K's in her 2nd one the car cannot find a happy idl it stalls and carrys on.... but the car drives fine other then them 2 things ..... any ideas on why im haveing the issuses.. the car fires up 1st kick ....aswell mick when do you guys open back up as I think I realy need to get this in to you

  19. will I need to run this motor in .... and if so doing so will that do anything to the motor with the tune in it.... and can someone please Tell me Exactly what comes with a Short block...
  20. mick its just same mods just a retune for the motor.. how long will u think u need the car for ??? would be nice to get a few more Ponys from her ...
  21. yeah this had got me clueless too I just dont know what had gone on here it looks like its been honed out not long ago... the car has got 160XXX on it and I havent tutched the motor .... its wired... but yeah its stuffed I havent evan pulled it down yet I stoped after seeing this .... mick whats it gonna cost me to get the tune re done after this is re assembled...

Pistons ,Roads ,Crank ,Oil pump ,Block... what is missing on the list because as I was stripping my old motor down I found this little gem so now my pland have changed again BF MK2 F6 Short is going on just need to check whats gonna come so I can strip the other stuff off the old one

  24. The test was done by riverside macanics in werribee mick I was looking at the atomic rebuild kits as I rather have tge stronger bittom end but how do u work out what kit to go with And do I buy tye stuff to sute the bord block or to tge pustens...
  25. hey mick yeah ok so once this is done ill have to bring it back into you and get you to check the tune and everything ... ill be driveing it in the 3,000 limmted tune untill you have checked it all over.. its just a pain in the bumb good timeing for the year lol
