  1. my clutch is a melwood op3+ diff is a turtrac with upgraded axles the weakest link in the drive line is the clutch and factory 5 speed tail sharft and I fully expect to destroy or stress the clutch but I accept that its just the way it is
  2. hey guys I wanna imporove my times on the 1/4 ill give you guys a vid of one of my runs .. and the time slip info and the power dyno sheet of my car and have a look and let me know... I know its the issue with getting off the line how would I better this can I get a launch contol fitted or tuned into the car? will this help me? Dyno sheet!   3. hey guys/gals im thinking about buying a line lock for my BA XR6 Turbo (T56) to use at the drags to help me get the old girl off the line a little better as im hopeless with handbrake never seem to get it back down when I take off I was planning on wiring one up on a armed switch and a manual press button for quick release so what im asking is who has one and what one have they got.. any pics .. on where they fitted it too and where people placed there switch's... Admin please move if in the wrong place
  4. well my blocks in the same boat :S no numbers but I got all the paperwork from ford for the new block,,,, and iv got photos of the old block with a crack in it... (funny thing is my old block never had numbers..)

  6. yeah this is why I thought about doing this as there bigger then what I have on the car at them moment ... got a price to reco the calipers and its gonna cost $120 per caliper + fixing of thead what ever the price is new Disk's all round its a Sum of $500 + pads at 250ish .. the braided lines... im looking at alittle over 1,000 to do witch is not that bad... just got to get over the issue of the crossthred..
  7. hey guys I have a MK1 BA XR6 turbo and it has the factory brakes witch are 298MM and iv been offered a upgrade premo brakes with are 325MM now the issue I have is the thread in the calipers have been cross threaded.. now what would be required to be done to them so I can fit them to my car..?

  11. is that with slicks......? as iv been told by a lot of people slicks and BA tail shafts are a bad idea.. and with the power level between 380- 400+ im just worried and I Dont want to have a issue.. when I race her at the AFF nats
  12. looking at this as its got me a bit worried about my BA Shaft... where im melb can I get one built and what will it cost for a BA with a T56.. and what way should I go 1 part or 2 parts....

  15. well I am running a FG MK2 Bottom end so the rods are slightly better then the old motor well we will see when you re-tune it if it likes it but if it is having a hard time we will just have to back it back to a place its happy at
  16. My tuner replayed.. would they be ok to get a good a/f and get lets say 400rwkw or close to it on 98 ron

  18. well ill go get them then in the next week or so if they are better then ba my mates both have BA's ones a 2003 monty and ones a 2002 XT will bf cams work with them too
  19. so BF XR6 Turbo and BF N/a Cams are the same..... and changeing both cams are worth doing... or only the exhaust side... sorry for sounding dumb just trying to make sence of all this iv got a FG MK2 F6 Bottom end, BA head, BF Lifters, BA Turbo Cams and Atomic Valve springs I can get BF N/A cams for nicks but need to know the turbo and N/a ones are the same
  20. id asume this would be the same for BA! im running about 447HP (334RWKW) at the treads.. will be more after the retune....
