  1. Yes my 50th Aniversary was a Non Turbo My Plans for running it in, well so far the daily driver to work I may take it for a run to launceston this weekend up the lake road that has lots of hills and bends. But for that I need lots of Fuel Money. So far the car feels alot more powerful then my non turbo was but the engine still needs to loosen up a bit as im sure the fuel econemy could be better as im not giving it a flogging just yet.
  2. As off last week Wednesday day 17th Aug 2011 Im the proud owner of a XR6 Turbo in the Edge color, only one to be sold in that color by my dealership. I traded in my beloved XR50 in the Nitro color for it but I think it was worth it, it only has 234 K on the clock now and drives like a dream. The suspension and seats feel more softer then the XR50 did and well it just feels like a softer ride alround, with a beast under the hood.
  3. Another Question do these cost much more to service then the non turbo's? and if u keep them service which I obviously will they wont gice any trouble? Ive never had a turbo before
  4. It is a Sedan as I like the Sports car look and I will be towing with as I have a boat. My XR50 towed the boat ok so this shouldnt have any issues I hope, the boat is only 500 Kg's not to heavy.
  5. anybody else guys surely more of u must have some good advice?
  6. Hello everyone im new here but have been reading these forums for a while now. Yesterday I bought a brand new FG XR6 Turbo with the color Edge from the ford dealership down here in Hobart. I pick it up in september, Im upgrading from an FG XR6 50th Aniversary in the Nitro color I bought about this time last year. I got the XR6 Turbo for a really good price $43,000 so it was really hard to resist getting it as these cars are usally worth 55K and up. Just wondering what u think of my upgrade and what can I expect from my new Car? when I get it I will also be using the car to Tow a boat, it should have plenty enouph power for that. Cheers guys.
