  2. Does it slightly shake-vibrate when driving? I purchased one and when driving over bumps the hump and rear of the bonnet shakes! Just wanna no if it's my dud bonnet or are they all the same?
  3. I have a photo of my old dyno sheet in another thread! That was before the retune with new springs! 289RWKW then 306RWKW I will find the new dyno chart and upload it also the car is only for street use.
  4. Fordfreak1 I asked my tuner how to increase my takeoff as it was pretty slow untill boost kicked in! He's reply was a trouqe converter! I have a AVO cooler and piping and that was installed prior to the tune,
  5. Hey guys, I have a 2005 ba xr6t tuned with dump,intecooler And so on.... Sometimes when I cold Start the car it starts fine but as soon as I engage reverse it runs like sh*t and engine light comes on. I have to put it in park turn the car off and restart it! Then it starts fine! Now this doesn't happen everytime on randomly also I have noticed that it idles very low now and a little lumpy. Checked for engine codes via x3 it says none! Any help would be awesome
  6. Yeah, I don't waste my time racing xt's it was a one off thing! I will stall it off the line when I go to the track to get some figures untill then I drive it normal with a bit of a heavy foot!
  7. Yeah I understand it all now, fairly new and enjoying the power I just expected a bit more power off the mark! Guess u can't have best of both worlds! cheers for the help guys
  8. What model gtx? If mine craps itself then I would but just to increase the spool now the cost would out weigh the benefits!

  10. Might just leave it without a BOV! Anybody have a 4sp running roughly 300RWKW what 0-100 do you run??? I run 5.8
  11. Gasman I no the feeling! So would a more aggressive tune help my take off? I want a safe tune aswell as a powerful one! I love having the power but wished it had more balls down lower!
  12. So running the BOV won't help My lag! From take off its very slow! A stock xt beats me untill boost kicks in at around 2500rpm! So would it be the tune??? Should I not worry and live with it or is there ways to help my take off? I currently don't have a BOV would yous recommend putting one on anyways? Any help would be awesome
  13. So either way vented or returned to the intake it will help the lag?
  14. My xr6t currently is running 306RWkw I have no BOV and a crap load of lag! Now I want to install a BOV to reduce the lag but do I have to plumb it back in order to reduce the lag or just vent it? Currently running 14-15 psi!
  15. I have a ba and have 306RWKw with intake,injectors,cooler,fuel pump, dump & cat I guess easy 320!!!

    Just wondering what times do you guys run from 0-100???? I have a ba with 306.6RWKW what should I run roughly and what quarter Mile could I expect??

Hey mate, I have a 2005 ba I got a second hand AVO cooler $700 Xcal 3 $500 Full exhaust x-force $500 Injectors 60lbs $350 Atomic valve springs $420 Tuned at Autotech engineering Granville for $1760 with the springs installed! I got 306RWKW So your budget is good just look around get pieces here and there then go for Your tune u won't look back

  22. Do you think with new valve springs I could pull a little bit more power? Because now when I hammer it and slow down it runs like sh*t for a minute...
  23. just had my xr6t tuned and I don't understand the letters and numbers in the box so I was wondering if someone could explain the reading for me.. also do you think the power drop off is the valve springs?
