I'm sending my gt3540 away to be ported, and a new actuator fitted now my question is what actuator would be best to fit? I will be running 15-16 psi. I know if I get a 12lb one I can't run under 12lb I have heard that some tuners have troubles maintaining boost with the 12lb one so would a 8lb one be ok??

The fact that Expensive Daewoo is stated in nearly every magazine as Australia's no.1 car relating to total number of sales every year, should serve as an indication... Ford were in big trouble when they were producing the EA's and EB's and so on, and even more so when they brought out the AU. Thus the quick change through the different shell-models, from the last E-model, to the AU, to the BA... Finally, the BA was a decent looking car... And now they've f*cked it again with the FG... Atleast the older Holdens are well and truly sought after. Especially the Commodores, the Toranas and the Monaros... What is there of Ford...? A f*cking Cobra that only Bill Gates could afford... Expensive Daewoo will always be at the better end of the scale, bred... f*ck Ford. Can someone please help with if a reply to this knoobs response

It's a new turbo I have purchased! Old ones still kicking. I would like it to be ported before installing it. There is a workshop here who does tuning but not this type of turbo work! So I will send it away then put it on once completed but I don't know where to send it to.

Only problem is I'm 600klms away from my tuner!

Wheres the best place to send my turbo away for porting & actuator? And what's average prices? It's off the car ready to go

I have purchased a custom surge tank, I have also purchased a loom to run the wiring as well. My only thing is I don't understand what goes where! There is four outlets! 1 for the 044 pump but where do the rest go? Any help would be great

Dubbo do travel to Sydney, Could I just port my wastgate change actuator and he the exhaust shop to cut and welds existing dump? I will have a look at etms products but will the suit stock manifold and xforce dump?

Yeah Car looks like a sleeper so police don't really bother me! I like the idea of a screamer pipe would I be best of going to an exhaust shop for the modifications or source the needed parts and get my tuner to install & time? Also if I put a External wastegate what has to be done tonthe internal one?

I have purchased a new complete turbo for my ba falcon! Currently tuned at 15psi 306rwkw! I struggle to hit 12psi I think the actuator is rooted. Now what I want to no is should I get the turbo sent away & ported with a new actuator before installing it because as soon as the new turbo is fitted I will be getting a retune. Or how hard and costly would it be to run a screamer pipe I already have a 4" dump! What's easier port and actuator? Or external gate and screamer?
