  1. Haven't seen any hit the 9's yet.
  2. ^ more like 10!
  3. Funny that! Tremec quotes to use dex lll and not a synthetic oil. Sounds like another zf thing. Use this oil That oil! What ever people use and works must Be fine :/ manufacturer would know...
  4. Hmmmmm interesting. I have a t56 and some days with the ac on it sounds like a truck lol I just serviced it with the oil it suggested, dex lll It says to stay away from synthetic oils?!?!?! I have a smal grind from 2-3 and it's noisy at idle a little..... Think oil would help it?
  5. Look around, there everywhere. Seen a bf 2007 125,000klms immaculate $8500 2002 ba dirty 4spd immaculate $5000 Also seen a na ba immaculate $4000 There dropping in value something shockenly
  6. Mines sucked in over $40K it's a 2005 ba..... Bet if I sold it I would be lucky to get $20k only way it's leaving me is by getting written off. The prices of these cars are crazy now. Can get a smick turbo for 5-$6000
  7. I just feel in performance mode once you take over it should all be about what you want, as in down and up shifting. Would be safer to stay in a gear rather then kicking back and snapping something, hence why I wondered if it could be tuned out. For me I don't have a worry in the world. Th400 = fully manualized lol
  8. Refer to my previous post lol
  9. So apart from that, being in a high gear and under WOT isn't harmful to the car?
  10. What would make it dangerous?
  11. Mick, can they be tuned to not kick back in manual mode?
  12. Strange, brothers bf with zf 6spd ran 11.0 with 340rwkw but he's 60ft was 1.6!!! 2.0 is crazy slow 60ft!!!
  13. Start with the rubber mounting! My twin 044's are hardly noticeable.
  14. Word on the street is the precision sits slightly back more, so a small bit of dump or cat needs to be removed.
  15. Tell me did your issue get resolved with a hole in the throttle body :/ So when did you go to spring wood? Before it after autotech?
  16. They had a September special for $750 Seen one fitted looked the goods. Have sold a few, there currently working on a alloy hat not steel so if alloy tickles your fancy hold off a little longer.
  17. Buf! I mentioned who I have used and who I personally think could help him based on my experiences. Considering I have almost the same car as op and I'm more then happy with Cms and there work why would I mention C&v Tune house Bta Castle hill And the likes when I can't vouch personally that they know there Barras. When it comes the Barras and the zf's you need someone who deals with a lot of them so they know what they are doing! Cms & autotech have the cars from 9 seconds to 11 seconds rolling out of there shop on a weekly basis! I ain't referring a shop I'm not 100% happy with. And I've been to autotech myself so I can Persoanlly say I left there because there work was way to pricey! Apart from that I couldn't fault spiro and he's tunes!
  18. Roger that! I meant 6766 :/
  19. I see Your minds set on where car is going to. Does this shop specialize in Barras and have a large customer base of xr6t's? Would hate to see you f*cked over again... Well can't get anymore screwed then what you already have been, but paying more money and taking a stab that it will be fixed is silly :/ for Your sake I hope all goes well. I've been around and thankfully haven't been done over like you have. But for you what is needed is a tuner who specializes in zf tuning for those zf boxes or else that new zf won't last a month. Also I would suggest getting a full Check over on anything that greasy c0ck touched. Speak to the guy your heading to and make sure he's confident with zf tuning and these motors, if he isn't 100% confident don't waste anymore time and money go straight to Cms
  20. No surprise. What surprises me is the car winds over. Seriously car needs to go to a reputable tuner who knows these cars Cms in Preston's or autotech in Granville! Give both a ring and I gurantee you'll be in safe hands. My white ba has over 500rwkw tunes by Cms!! Can't fault joe and the work that leaves he's shop.
  21. Go to exhaust shop pay $50 get a bung welded In Go home and install it. 1-2 hours easily Done, I've fitted 3 now and they are piss easy! A earth And power feed is all that's needed! I rate it 2/10 in difficulty
  22. No, the ba-bf ones fit in the fg cover. Just use about 1cm of small fuel hose on top of the coils to hold them in place so they don't pop out while under load... Or use the old ba coil cover grommets.
  23. Yes. Use your ba-bf coils.
  24. Not sure but what I do know is there's only one 6466 for our cars.
