Before owning a F6 I owned a WRX, I had Docklands fit suspension and swaybars as I like a car stiff and sure footed on the road, not to mention safer and more confidance inspiring. So naturally when I brough my F6 I was pretty concerned with the amount of sway and lurch these family sized sedans have. So I fitted springs and a swaybar as I have done in tha past. It transformed the car completly and has been a joy to drive since. Today the mount for the rear diff sheared off, and Ford and FPV took a stirn stance on fixing it under warranty. I argued as much as I could but it was a no go, I can see thier point. But I want to warn you other Ford owners that the grass is greener elsewhere. My WRX after about 12 months of having the suspension fitted, chewed a rear LSD and a front, hub. Subaru could have taken the same stance and refused warranty. However they truly do have customer loyalty and replaced both for me under warranty. I can surly say that even though some may argue that warranty is black and white, other brands do err on the side of actually looking after thier future customer. On this occasion I can do nothing as FPV told me, but I can assure them I will never buy another Ford or recommend them ever again. My wifes territory will not be replaced by another Ford and my XR6 ute will not be replaced by another Ford. For the sake of a ~$1000 they ar going to lose out over all... Fool me once, Fool of me twice...
