  1. I got 350rwkw out of my FG F6 with 80lb injectors, 3.5" turbo back xforce exhaust, rapid cooler and herrod CAI with a CMS tune.
  2. The best way to tell if it is an ex cop F6 is the wear on the drivers seat, the edges will be highly worn from the cops gun holster.
  3. FG f6 #805 dark argents, leather, camera, Ego, ZF
  4. Boost the smash! That is impressives for just a chip and exhaust dude.
  5. If that is what you want then Joe and CMS is the go. I know I can go there and get Joe to tinker with something at a moments notice and him and the boys always are nice and top blokes. I really appreciate that kind of personal service. All you tell him is what you are after and he will make it happen, he won't recommend anything that isn't needed just for the sake of making extra money.
  6. Go to CMS. I've had a car tuned at CV and now my current car at CMS and found CMS tune to be better for day to day driving. Also, Joe knows his fords inside and out. Every time I go out there, I see a turbo that has come from other tuners to get redone or fixed as the car is not right and the other tuner doesn't know what is wrong with it. That's got to say something.
  7. Actuator I reckon, especially if it has been tuned for more boost
  8. I doubt it is an ex cop car if it has premium sound. For a couple of grand more, you could find a better FG, if not, keep shopping around.
  9. I was insured with the NRMA for over ten years with no problem and when I bought my FG XRT they wanted over $2k and I still had my VX LS1 Calais still insured with them for $1k. I didn't want to spend over $3G on insurance so I rang Shannons. They don't just insure anyone, you have to prove you are a "motoring enthusiast" which I did and they were more then happy to insure both my cars for $1500 which I jumped at. Within a month of having the turbo, a lady ran into it so it needed to be repaired, one call to Shannons andy car was fixed in a week at my choice of repairer. Easy as.
  10. Auto for quicker times, manual for more power on a dyno auto for ease of driving, esp in city traffic, manual for more driving involvement. I sometimes wish I got the auto in my FG, esp driving on the Princes hway to and from work everyday and having a buggered knee that gets sore after a while from the clutch pedal but the gearbox is great and smooth and the car provides a lot of entertainment when driven with spirit.
  11. I upgraded from a tuned BA2 T and FG is a much better car. I test drove a BF T and a BF phoon before I test drove a FG and I was sold straight away. I got mine for 30k and it has lux pack, 19s, manual etc so there are bargains to be had with FGs. You get warranty too with an FG. If you can afford it, get one, you won't regret it.
