  1. this was a problem with ba's we used to change pedal boxes
  2. Just picked up my XR from Pitlane this afternoon after recieving the call from mick to say all good to go. To say im impressed is an understatement. From the first phone call to Belinda to the constant updates from Andrew, Belinda and Mick the whole experience has exceeded my expectations. Also the fact that I gave no notice of my impending arrival, even though Mick and Belinda has a special appointment to attend shows their profesionalism as they spent time to go through all work performed and answer my many questions, The work carried out is as followed : 4'' Nizpro Exhaust Front and rear superpro bush kit Plazmaman surge with single 044 pump Turbo port and wastegate modification tailshaft coupling replacement new plugs , fuel filter and thermostat Cobalt blue boost / oil pressure gauges Custom pitlane tune Rectification of 02 sensor fault (Due to my back yard mechanics doing up manifold bolts and jamming sensor wires) Prior mods included ( Prior to Micks magic the car put out 298 RWKW) Plazmaman 800hp intercooler kit walbro fuel pump Siemens 60 injectors Earls inline filter As the topic suggest the final figure came in at 342 RWKW with 16psi Boost See atached Dyno graph (please advise if it doesnt show up im a bit computer illiterate ) The drive home was a memorable one (after stopping at the BP down the road due to me leaving the car with Mick with only half a tank of fuel, rookie mistake) the differerence in performance is astounding and the noise is just out of this world. So once again a very big thank you to the whole pitlane team its just a shame I had to go through the rest in order to find the best Your newest lifelong customer Michael
  3. Coffey Ford in clayton a week after I bought the car (second hand stat warranty) would not replace the idle pulleys even though they sounded like a chainsaw. Also found out CD player was not covered , does still not play CD's Also Chadstone Hyundai , had my old ladys car serviced there and they left a pair of vice grips on the right rear shock which blew it out Lucky I was driving the car that weekend would step out sideways over bumps/corners at almost any speed However they didnt argue when it came to fixing it and supplying me with a loan car at no cost I let them have their vice grips back as well
  4. No need to remove front bar mate Just remove a few bolts on the splash tray (Black plastic attached to bottom of front bar) on either side The fog light are just clipped into the front bar , push them in (Be careful the glass can crack/break) and they should unclip Then just undo the loom and pull them out from behind the front bar and through the splash where u undid the bolts
  5. If trans fluid, front pump leaks are common on the BTR 4sp If not trans fluid could be a rear main seal Just my 2 cents
  6. Spoke to Jim from XR6 Turbo developments today regarding the system. I found Jim to be very genuine/knowledgeable and gave some very good advice in regards to modifications to suit my car They systems are made by advance in South Australia. Jim offers a 3 year warranty on parts, so it looks a quality unit. I will be going with this system and Jim entertained the idea of a group buy if others were interested.
  7. I agree the Xforce is tried and true, however I am a bit concerned about the build quality / fit. I have received an email response from Jim at XR6 turbodevelopments and will be contacting him to get more information Il put up a post after I speak to him with more details
  8. Hi All I interested in XR6 Turbodevelopments 4'' dump/cat option. Would be interested to hear others opinions on these systems and if it is a better option than an Xforce or similar system. I am currently only looking at the dump/cat with a cat back system to follow at a later date. Thanks
