^^ as above.. I met a couple blokes at willowbank one night when there with a mate.. Mates cammed V8 auto commy went 12.9 on street tyres and a blokes brand new G6ET (only mod was a baby seat) went 12.87 or something.. To say he was pissed was an understatement..

Yeah we merged rab.. No ones too happy about it.. Company was doin brilliant..

And I lied.. f*ckers took my base salary added a bit.. But then said that included super.. Less money.. Feckin better be a typo..

Got my new work contract through.. Finally.. Needs reviewing and signing by Monday.. Cheeky f*cking bastards have a non-compete clause.. 24 months after you leave the company can't work for another company that deals with any of the same clients (it's a bit more sophisticated than that.. Got a lawyer mate seeing if he can find a loophole).. Ffffff-uckkkk dat... We have so many clients I would literally have to move to WA to get work.. And I lose a permanent work car.. And I get paid monthly.. And I can't accrue more than 4 weeks leave or leave stops being accrued (currently have 7 weeks owing so gotta make sure that I am not gonna magically lose 3).. And no bonuses.. Unless you're in management.. So gotta wait for my position description to find out if I am high enough management to get bonuses.. And I have to comply with an 'IT' policy.. Which I just read and it means I can't download porn, or use UTorrent while at work! And they have a drug and alcohol policy which eliminates the couple beers at Friday pub lunches! Unless you take the afternoon off.. But that needs approval from your manager 2 days in advance... On the upside I suppose it's got more $$$$ attached and more sick days.. (Don't really care about sick days for me but I seem to take a stack to look after the little fella) On the whole.. Small company becoming big company really sucks balls..

That sounds horrible.. I actually threw out both porridge and protein powder from my drawer the other day..

Yeah couple more bouts of gastro should turn me off junk food long enough to ensure my arteries survive another 1.5 years..

Ahh.. Gym memories.. My first time using a gym out in the middle of nowhere while away for work./ Loaded up squat rack. Assumed position. As soon as I lifted the whole squat rack slid backwards pulling me over with a bar still across my shoulders.. Landed incredibly painfully twisted and pinned under a bar with about 80kg on it.. Cue gym alpha male.. Walks over... Looks down.. Takes a photo.. Then says 'ya right mate?' f*ckin jackarse yeah that's what I do for fun!

I could be interested in the 10-22.. Was looking at one similar but considering my level of experience I was considering going Tamron just to see if I can reignite my interest in cameras without killing the bank too much..

RIP Craig.. I never met him in person but his book and his blog were both inspirational. His blog helped my dad through some tough times and showed him it was okay to feel beat down from the cancer from time to time as long as you never have up. f*ck you cancer!
