Yeah I agree completely.. I do admit that small retailers really get stung by public holidays.. So they do need to keep them in check.. Going back a while I would have loved it if the government scrapped stupid penalty rates for hospitality on weekends.. Big believer that you get a job that keeps odd hours or works weekends.. That's just an expectation of that job.. As a baker we used to get 20% loading for any hours worked between 6pm and 6am (which was most of them). In hindsight that's just bloody ridiculous because I was a freaking baker. It's not a 8-5 mon-fri job..

I used to work for the gumbyment.. I like any day off people are willing to give me..

I think QLD does that also? Pretty sure we've gone back to the dark ages next year that if anzac day falls on a weekend then we don't get the monday off..

What made me feel good.. Hitting the deck running this morning.. With new minions.. Also said minions being amazed that I'm willing to sacrifice my weekend to get stuff done.. Then threatening their next weekend if this isn't finished this week..

The flavours on catch of the day were crap.. I bought all chocolate.. But yeah I remember strawberry and blueberry ones from years ago! They were awesome!

If they were expensive it should have been a signature required package.. If it wasn't insured there is not much you can do except keep bothering australia post.. It's not the driver either..
