Huge coffee fan. Can I claim it makes me bounce off the walls? No that's what redbull is for. But I can say that if I don't have 6:30 am coffee, arrived at work 7:30 am coffee and my social 10:30am coffee, then the day just isn't worth anything.

Yeah mate same everywhere. I'm stoked I won the govy contract and start back in the gumbyment tomorrow. found out that alot of the blokes going for the same.position that didn't get it have been sacked. I can handle missing allowances though because it means I am actually staying at home. Living away from home is cool occasionally, but when you do the maths, $250 per night minus $110 motel (did the backpacker thing for a while saved bulk cash) minus 3 x meals from wherever. Doesn't add up to enough to make it worthwhile to be away from home 5 nights a week.

62k down here..All in allowances though. Which means I'm not out of pocket ridiculous amounts for motels also.

I haven't donated in a long time. Should do it again. Oddly enough, I think certain religions need to move with the time. If they accept vaccinations and antibiotics they can accept blood when it is needed. A very good friend of mine was hit on his bike. (Lycra argument and whether he deserved it argument for another day). When I say hit he was cleaned up by a speeding car being driven by someone without a license. His riding companions estimated he went 2m in the air and was flung 30-40m. His parents arrived at the hospital just in time to stop him receiving a blood donation that would have greatly improved his chances. What yanks my chain was that he didn't follow his families religious beliefs. But when a dude is laying on a bed with his head cracked, face partly missing and back broken, he can't really communicate that with the medical team. We are incredibly lucky that he survived given that he was given no blood.

Start governmental position next week. One of my really good clients just had a project go pear shaped, sensationally.. Really really want to help them out (they are good people and they pay good), but my governmental requirement is full time.. Currently debating whether I can juggle their project at night time if I pass off any phone calls to a younger associate during the days.

Finding out I have to work 9-5 in gumbyment employment for the next 6 to 12 months. What am I supposed to do between 7am and 9am? Master bate lots?
