  1. Coils
  2. The description of the problem makes zero senses.... What does the car actually do? Have u replicated the fault?
  3. If you drive it normally youl be fine, providing the engine light is missfire related (codes p0301-p0306 plus random missfire code), to get to the coils you only need to remove the crossover and coil cover, it is VERY easy and youd have to be a neanderthal to f*ck it up. Have a go u might learn something
  4. Listen to old_mate
  5. Hard to hear exactly what it is on that video, make sure all the bolts in the turbine housing are still there, have had a couple fg's spit them out and makes strange exhaust leak sound
  6. Destroked motor sounds nuts
  7. Ah yes the old gravity induced missfire, when the muffler bearings spin backwards due to compressor surge
  8. Some ebay guy has them for around $250 (NOT THE VDO ONES) I can supply for $330... Price has gone up recently
  9. Yep, uphill requires more load, more load requires more spark. A set of genuine coils is the only way to go and vary from $250 to $500 depending where u get them from
  10. Ford cant balance it I youve changed the pinion flange One thing you could try... Seeing as the flange is new I assume its pretty smooth? Your local dealer could try using alloy wheel stick on weights on the outer surface of the flange at the points indicated during the balance procedure... Providing it doesnt need crazy amounts of weights and the weights stick ok it could work... Could also turn the tailshaft one bolt over on the flange until the closest balance point is reached requiring the least weights possible, will be time consuming but could work well...
  11. We have dowel pins to align the cradle correctly, generally we dont quote wheel alignments with the job but I can see why it would be beneficial.
  12. I never gave a price... I said we do centre bushes for under 500 s&f... Wheel align is extra
  13. Dont need to remove the diff mate when youve been doing them for 8 years you get quick
  14. Yeah just centre, all three takes about 1.5-2 hours depending on how fast u go.
  15. Never seen any exceptions ratter, spot on
  16. We charge well under $500 for s&f genuine diff bush and can do the job in under an hour
  17. Sounds like a combination of the curse of the aftermarket coil and valve springs, valve springs generally 800-1000 supplied and fitted
  18. Remove upper steering column trim, just pulls out, remove drivers side body seal and side dash trim, remove drivers side dash spear by unclipping it on drivers side and pulling it forward from the lower edge of the trim. Them remove 2 screws from lower edge of cluster and slide cluster out, unplug and remove.
  19. Unless its a clinking type noise like "tink tink tink tink" then your centre tailshaft spline will need to be loctited and the nut torqued up
  20. Nah u cray.. Take a video post it up
  21. Dude... How can the diff make a grinding sound if the cars not moving
  22. At idle? Is the car moving when this happens?
