  2. an acid rush ba with cooler injectors walbro exhaust tune (hardly drivin),also mate where u from and if u ever need a spare pair of hands happy to help out (im no mech but willing to help). u probly thinkin of the work shop that shut down a while ago, they wernt to good, the one im talkin bout is only couple months old
  3. travel to sydney mate,I live on the coast and always make the effort and is worth it. there is a new perfomance work shop at tuggerah but only new and wouldnt recomend them yet,one of the guys has a pretty mean fg but think their only new to tuning, the 1.5 hrs travel approx could save u alot of coin, this is only my opinon but
  4. used them for a rebuild but not a port job happy with their service and a good bloke to talk to.I delt with a dude named ben
  5. make sure there are no kinks or tight bends as that hose is pretty thick and dosnt compress easily it will restrict your flow and gain no advantages over stock pump, also when tuning they will be chasing fuel, better to spend a little more time and effort to use the stock hose as it can compress on its self without restricting flow
  6. I got mine from motorsport connections fast delivery the are speed flow though no leaks no complaints also when I got my turbo rebuilt cause of stock filter fail they said no warrenty on turbo unless I change to an aftermarket line and filter, very common problem...
  7. same thing when I got mine found split in bottom of hose got a silicon hose replacment at auto pro think its 76mm or sumptin dont quote me but they only had one size anyways and that was right size had to cut length a bit but only $16
  8. yep also been down this path not long ago and it sucked, got about enough change from 2G to buy a case and drown my sorrows. got my rebuilt $1350 housing wasnt to bad, new speed flow oil line $175, turbo remove/replace $400, sound of new tight turbo spool PRICELESS Also u might find some wont offer warrenty unless u go aftermarket oil feed line.
  9. can u veiw before purchase or is it online cause last thing u want is to pay 700 the find out your up for rebuild soon after that, I dont really trust wreakers myself (have u seen a non dodgy lookin wreakers b4) if u cant veiw bit of a gamble imo, but if your not gettin car anyway good clean up wack her on and send it on its way hopefuly sumptin will go your way
  10. just got off phone to procharge heres the low down $690 rebuild $1300 new core fitted(brand new garrett) $1590 exchange turbs
  11. im not concerned I was just trying to get across wot memo was saying and help get a better explanation
  12. Servicing

form my personal experience for a general service I would choose my local express lube great service set prices so no surprises at bill time your choice of oil, I just sat there on their cumfy sofa drinking their free coffee watching their foxtell on big plazma reading a wide selection of mags theres even a spot where u can sit and watch them work through a window in waitng room. but not to say they are all like this
  14. mate dont throw in the towl so quickly ,get your turbs ripped off send it to hypergear (pazzo recomends)get rebuild I think I read on their site u get new oil feed line with rebuild if not they will sell u one install fresh turbs and oil line and fresh oil and enjoy your car again, 2g max. the more u drive your car now the more damage your doin the more its gunna cost. by the sounds of the mechanic your seein I wouldnt trust him with my p.o.s pushy(change your brake cable... nah cant do that its held on by a scew thingy..LOL)
  15. yeah mate im in the same boat but I got quoted between $900 and $1500 for rebuild depending on damage done to housing etc andbout $300 to take turbo off and put back on again also should invest in an aftermarket oil feed line with a filter that can be accessed and changed easier like an earls or speedflow they are between $150 and $200 0n ebay depends who u buy from
